This ladder is very well made. Heavy duty but it's narrow, 10" wide but that's ok with me I didn't want fill up the transom with big piece of hardware. It will be used only in an emergency if I fall in the lake and need to get back in the boat. Did not come with mounting screws but that's understandable, how would they know how everyone wants to mount it.

I mounted on my capri transom. Looks good and seems to hold me well. I made a back plate to mount it too. Somewhat difficult to get it behind the transom, but works well.Only time will tell about how well it holds up to salt water….

It works, Seems to be well built. Made in China. I added this to my fishing boat as an emergency ladder in case someone ever goes over board. It can be deployed from the water if I am fishing alone. Tested it today and it works fine. It may not be a perfect fit depending on the angle of the transom as the standoff are short. I made it work on mine by cutting the tubing on the mounting side. That does the same thing as lengthening the standoffs (changes the angle of the ladder), only it is less work and helps it maintain a low profile which is what I wanted on my fishing boat. The only other thing I did was add a drain hole to the center of the hinges. The way it comes if water was to get inside it could not get out.

The ladder is well made, sturdy, and looks good. Accurately described in the advertisement. However, I couldn't use it because it did not fit my boat.

I purchased this ladder to mount on the transom of my O'Day 192 sailboat to replace the inconvenient portable ladder. This ladder was very easy to install (note, you will have to buy your own stainless steel bolts and lock nuts); I drilled four holes through the fiberglass, applied marine sealant to the backside of the ladder mounts, and bolted it on. The whole process was less than half an hour. On the water, the ladder provides easy access for swimmers, and it also makes entering the boat much easier while on the trailer. The construction quality appears very good; the hinges are welded compared to bolt-on hinges of similar ladders. The ladder folds and is held closed by a plastic clip that is robust and will likely last a long time - of course you could always wrap a bungee cord as a failsafe. Overall, I am quite pleased with this ladder and I'm happy I paid a little extra compared to similar, cheaper ladders.

I had to return the first ladder i purchased (different manufacturer) because it was missing parts. That's when I decided to buy this one. What a blessing! I would have kept and installed it if there weren't parts missing. This ladder is in a totally different category quality wise for a difference of 20 bucks! I installed it on my Crestliner 1600 and I have to agree with other reviewers that the stand off's are not nearly long enough to fit properly on a transom that has a pitch to it, I need about 5 inches more to make it perpendicular to the transom? I would have rated it 5 stars if it had adjustable standoffs. I'm sure I'll come up with a solution to this problem but it would sure make a lot of sense to make the standoffs adjustable for a more universal fit?Tom

Fit perfectly on.my.fisher fishing boat, very solid I went to Ace hardware and picked up the right heavy duty screws and thicker washers pre drilled and installed could not be happier!!

This boat louder is not too small or too big for my V Tracker boat 2015. This ladder is high quality workmanship. I am quite surprised. It looks good on my boat. I would recommend this boat ladder to anyone who has a Tracker boat or bass boat. I am totally 120% happy about this purchase
