I was dealing with a sketchy jostling/ sway on the free way when I would hit uneven surfaces or a bump. After replacing most of my suspension components (they needed replaced anyway) I decided to add a little race car to my commuter 06 outback llbean. This bar has changed this vehicle dramatically, it’s amazing. I don’t understand why there are two side by side tension holes on this bar, you would think they would be vertical to add or reduce tension? I could care less, this car finally feels planted, feels safer and can make a semi aggressive turn without the ass end jumping up on the trailing side. Install was manageable, took some navigating and twisting around the dual exhaust and suspension components but I only threw one wrench so I can say it was pretty straight forward.

It fits and works. Nothing else matters does it?

Sway bar went in much easier than it was taking the old one out. Really tightened up the rear end of the car.

If you're looking at this, you are driving an older subaru that you for some reason want to keep running (same here). This sway bar improves the ride immensely. I would spend the money on this in combination with new KYB shocks, rather than a more expensive shock/strut option. This combination really makes the car drive nicely and in one year of having it on the whiteline bushings at the mounting spots have no squeaks.I take a clover leaf ramp to hop on the highway when leaving work and now that the rear stays so planted, I can take the ramp nearly 20mph faster than before with just about the same amount of body roll if that gives you and idea of new stability

This fit my modified 2006 Subaru Baja well. Install time was around 45-60 minutes and did not require jacking up the car or removing wheels. I do not think this product will work with the stock exhaust, but if you are having custom exhaust fitted after installation of this product then you are in luck.

I bought this for my 2005 outback along with the Moog K750023 Stabilizer Bar Link Kit. Amazon says that other people buy the White line end links, but I didn't have another $100 just for end links. I'm not racing this car. I just wanted it to stop swaying and rocking while driving in a straight line.I am very impressed with the results. The car finally drives like it should have all along. I was worried about this making the ride harder or messing up something about the way the car should work. I don't usually use after market or upgraded parts like this. I was just having a problem with the car swaying a lot and rocking during normal driving. I have had the car checked out twice and both times they say everything looks just like it should. Shocks, struts are great, sway bars and end links look great. There was no reason the car should be bobbing and rocking side to side so much. After seeing that many other people had the same problem with this year and model, they suggested this upgraded sway bar and end links. I was worried the suggestions were just coming from hot rod kids who were trying to trick out their old Subaru's. After trying to fix the alignment and a few other things with no results, I finally made the decision to try this out. I put the end links into the front holes which is supposed to be the softer setting on this sway bar. I am really amazed at how much better the car drives now. The rocking is gone. The car feels safer and more stable. Instead of wanting to trade this car in, I am now hoping it lasts a long time.Just a note about installing it, the videos on YouTube made this look easy. In theory it would be, but I had some seriously rusted/corroded bolts on the old sway bar to remove. I also have a dual exhaust which made it quite the puzzle to work the old sway bar out and get the new one in the right place. It took me about 5 hours to do it.I noticed that some people complained about the new sway bar moving left to right. Mine came with clamps that go next to the bushings. The clamps keep the sway bar centered so I haven't had any problems with the bar hitting the brake lines or anything else.

Installed on a 2008 outback. Helps counter body roll and adds a positive feeling to the steering. Less sway in heavy wind. I like this addition to the car a lot.
