I'm not a professional. Used this to route the hole for an undermount-style sink in an alder plank countertop. The sink is supported on a wooden base and not truly undermount. I needed a very long bit so the bearing would sit below the radius of the top of the sink. Sink has 3/4 diameter corners that perfectly matched the bit.Results are all I could wish for. Cut very cleanly, although it was slow going and extremely messy.I put a bit of tape around the sink to protect the porcelain, but the tape tore up. The bearing did not scratch the sink. I've tried a few brands of bits for other projects and keep buying more Whiteside because they Just Work.

My most favorite flush trim bit! I do alot of pattern routing for woodworking. This downshear flush cuts the smoothest and has greatly reduced tear-out compared to a typical two flute. If you want American jobs, buy Made in America like Whiteside.

I bought both this and the CMT. $3 more and bit shorter but has more shear angle and is quieter.

This bit is just one of a growing collection of Whiteside bits. The cut is clean with a sharp edge. Simply put, they are the best!
