Sturdy. Can stand the beating when playing blitz. Display is clear and angled just right. I wish it had a reset switch in front instead flicking the power switch on the bottom off and on. But for the price, this is a great digital chess clock.

The clock and its features are good, and perform as expected. Having many pre-set options to easily choose from is very nice. Setting up a custom game is not as intuitive as it could be, but not terrible. The clock goes through batteries rather quickly, IMHO, which is really my only real complaint. I'd say we get about 15-20 Blitz games out of one pair of batteries. Another very minor dislike is that the mechanism pressed doesn't provide a very satisfying feedback, almost making me wonder if I've pushed it sometimes.

Certainly the best value in a chess clock right now. Does U.S. delay correctly. Does FIDE increments correctly (but no Bronstein delay). Displays hours, minutes, and seconds all the time. Easy to set. Quiet rocker action. Highly recommended.

The size, price, functions and durability make this a winner at my backgammon/chess table.

Bought this mostly to play skittle games (speed chess), so I knew it would be taking a lot of slapping and pieces being slammed on the switches. Chose this one because the switch paddles seemed beefy and broad. It has lived up to my expectations. It has taken a lot of abuse already, without showing any signs of damage. For the price paid and the wider variety of features built into it, this is a good value. Set-up and use is very easy. It will be interesting to see how durable it is, but right now I have no concerns.

I am very pleased with how simple this clock is to change from time settings and easy it is to use. It is perfect and feels good to strike the button (obviously not hard) but it is fun to use. I have multiple travel sets and am wanting to replace my other clocks with this model. Three thumbs up!!!

Bought this after my chronos clock malfunctioned (that is two clocks in 3 years). Chronos clocks are great, but lately the quality has taken a nosedive. I saw the wholesale chess clock at a tournament and decided to check it out (i thought may it is around $50-60). I was surprised at how inexpensive it was. After I received it, i checked out the various timing options. Could not have asked for a better clock. Has both increment and delay features (the latter being used in many USCF tournaments). Definitely this clock is a better deal than the equivalent DGT clock.

I was looking for a clock as a gift to interest my 82 year-old brother-in-law in going to the local chess club. He's way too sharp for his age, and he could hold his own against a lot of the players, but until he gets some experience in timed games I'm not sure I could persuade him to go. So I didn't want to pay top dollar, and I took a gamble ordering this attractively-priced clock even though it had no reviews. It appears well-made with nice action on the turn lever and solid rubber footing when you slap it around. It has a big, bright display that can be read in pretty full sunlight. (But the instructions say you can't use it in the rain ;-) . It has 38 preset presets for a nice selection of game intervals including bonus, delay, byo-yomi, and per-move timing for e.g. Scrabble. Plus you can reprogram any of the 38 presets to your own custom combination. Setting is almost intuitive after a quick read of an exceptionally clearly-written manual. The clock remembers your last setting for the next game, and it appears you can easily adjust the clock in midgame in any timing mode. The biggest potential con I can find is that you need an extra button push to get a move count.
