Much shorter than the originals which came with my hurricane shutters. These barely cover the un -threaded portion of the fasteners and offer no protection to the threads.They will probably blow off during the next windstorm.I do not think the seller is trying to be deceptive but rather just does not understand how these are likely going to be used.AFB

After hurricane Mathew, I purchased these to replace the screw covers that I have been using for the last 14 years in my hurricane shutters. Initially, I found the quality of these covers to be all over the place in regards to uniform length, thickness, and diameter.Now after just over three weeks all have turned an aged yellow and have begun to split and crack. These obviously don't work outdoors. Poor quality control, poor quality, and not cheap.Certainly didn't work for me to cover my hurricane studs.
