I am a fan of mini-humbuckers. I have played semi-professionally for 50 years as well as play in our worship band each Sunday. I like to be able to cut through the mix and find mini-humbuckers to be perfect for this.I am fortunate to also own a set of Gibson vintage mini-humbuckers, which have amazing tone. But they are selling now for around $300 a set. I also have a set of GuitarFetish mini-humbuckers which sound quite nice, but are more than twice the price of these pickups. I put these Wikinsons in my IYV PRS copy guitar. They have a brilliant, clear, chimey tone. I love running them through a blackface Fender modeler, SubNUp octaver, multiple shimmer verbs, a tape echo, & multiple delays. They produce crystal clear tones that articulate each string's voice.They lean a little towards a single-coil or a Filtertron sound. For the price I am very pleased with their tone.

Nice look and tone. I wired them as standard humbuckers (didn’t use the coil tap) but they sound and look great.

These replaced a set of muddy Epiphone mini humbuckers in my Riviera. Yes, they are WAY brighter, but im finding them a little thin and not very balanced, especially in the mid and low range. I'm generally a tele guy so I love clear and bright, but only if smooth and well-balanced. These are a bit too thin and harsh for me. I generally like what Wilkinson does, but I am somewhat disappointed in these pickups.

Installed these into an older Epiphone SG and really impressed with the quality of these. Blown away by how good considering the low price.Just to note as it's note obvious from the wiring diagram and this may be helpful for anyone like myself changing pickups for the first time.The pickups have 4 wires as they can be wired in series or in parallel.If you want the humbucker at full power you only need to solder two wires into your setup, and the two wires on the diagram already joined together just insulate them off and no need to solder to any points.

I put these in the neck position in three of my guitars. It makes for a really nice neck pickup. I haven’t tried them in the bridge position yet but so far the neck it sounds pretty good. They are out of phase with the Seymour Duncan pickups I put in the bridge but I kind of like it. You can always change the wires around which I tried but I ended up preferring them out of phase for a lo-fi funk sound when combined with a Duncan bridge pickup. It’s a pretty good pickup for some jazz tones in the neck and if you have enough drive it can get some good blues tones as well. The neck and bridge models of these pickups are the same dc resistance so keep that in mind if you use both in the same guitar. You’ll probably want to lower the neck pickup a bit more than the bridge pickup.

Bought these for an offset partscaster, i was pleasantly suprised. I use a lot of fuzz and these pickups sound great with fuzz. They also sound really good for dirty loose garage and alterantive sounds. Even clean they work well, especially in the middle position. Definitely recommend.

バッカスBMS-1Rに取り付けました。抵抗値がネック、ブリッジ用共に6.3Kと同一なのが気になりましたが、特に問題無かったです。取り立てて特徴のある音ではありませんが、何しろ安価で入手し易いのが良いです。ミニハムって、サイズ感が微妙で、なんとも言えない魅力がありますよね。

Nice product, needed to correct mounting spacing on tabs, slightly out. Make sure to check the spacing before installing. No room for error if screws are not in exact position to align into the pickup cavity mounting plates. Sustain is notibly improved, almost a shimmer to it. Love it. Appears to be a quality built product, quite surprised. Instructions and color coded sheet included. Bought this guitar brand new in 2015, was a robot model, switched all guts to 500k w/ 50's wiring. Grovers, pickups, pots, switches the whole shebang. NOW its a nice player.

Great for the price! Put these in my les Paul special, much much better than the original humbuckers. The tone is definitely brighter but not as bright as I was hoping. All in all I recommend them!

This pickups are a good option if you play blues,classic rock worship or pop. They're bright and good sounding.
