Comes with no instructions on how to remove plastic piece for picture. If you don't want to risk damaging anything while removing it, use a suction cup. It did NOT come off easily at all until I used a ransom suction cup to do so.

Beautiful solid walnut box. Came with suction cup to remove plexiglass easily to place photo. Good sound quality and would recommend.
