I originally purchased this air conditioner back in June of 2023. I was so excited to finally get a new air conditioner in the window of my bedroom to keep me cool at night since I run hot! It's the perfect size and it was easy to install and really doesn't make that much noise. The white noise is something I actually prefer to sleep at night. The issue I had was that for the first two weeks or so it worked perfectly fine. Of course it was warmer outside due to it still being summer so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it. Anyway, after that 2 or 3 weeks passed by. I noticed that in the middle of the night I was hot and I woke up and I was like what the heck is going on with this thing? Is it working properly? Did I put it on fan on accident? No I had it on cold and at the highest cold temperature possible. It just simply wasn't cooling. I called the manufacturer and Amazon and they agreed to ship me a new AC. Same exact thing. As a matter of fact. This was to avoid paying any extra money and I figured hey why not. Let's give it a shot and see if it'll work better this time because maybe the first one was faulty. Well now I got the second one in the mail and of course the delivery people can give a crap about how they handle these items and I noticed that there was nothing on the box indicating for them to be careful or not to bang it around or anything indicating this side up or this side down. So I have no idea what happened to this thing on its way to me. It seemed to be fun and I open the box and installed it with my landlord and turned it on and it started making this horribly loud sound. It apparently was the fan banging up against something on the inside because the AC must have been shuffled around in the mail. The genius that my landlord is got the noise to stop somehow and we turned the unit on again and it seemed to be working fine for the first 3 hours. Once again after about 3 hours it just stops pumping out cold air. I just don't understand. I took a chance and didn't get a different item because I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt thinking that maybe the first item was faulty for whatever reason. But nope. It is not consistent in its performance and I'm not a happy camper. I'm going to have to sell it on craigslist or something and buy something different next year or swap out the other one in my living room which hasn't caused me any issues whatsoever and I've been running it non-stop for the past 7 months. I'm very disappointed to say the least. Sorry.

They claim new compressor tech. Makes unit quite. Not true. Just as loud as the 8 year old unit it replaced. Next time I am going with a known brand.
