I like this and it's really easy to set up, my only issue is that when it rains the water does get in, it doesn't come into the house through the opening but it pools inside the box itself. I made sure everything was put together securely so i may need to put a little silicone around the top piece of plexiglass. Also where you adjust the sides to your window you definitely want to close the little openings up with tape so the bugs don't get it, i might silicone those spaces too, the tape doesn't look neat and seamless and takes away from the sleek look. My cats love it and overall i do feel like it's very sturdy and easy to clean

This product leaks water when raining. I would never have purchased item if I had known this. The cat likes it except when it is raining, but I do not feel it is a good product at all.

The box itself is good, but it doesn’t come with anything to brace the box in the window. I had to modify it so it would not fall out. It said if the box fit the size of the window you did not need to use the slides, but you need something to secure it. I bought one before this one from a different supplier and it worked perfectly without any modifications.

While I have a cat that would love this, the windows in the rental open horizontally and do not accommodate it sadly, or I would buy one for my cat. I purchased this cat window box to modify for my amazon parrot as a sleeping habitat. This product is made very well and is simple to assemble with everything needed for a window install. The 3/4" wood frame is coated for protection, with interior measurements of 22 11/16" L x 12 3/4" W x 13 1/2" H. I turned the box on end, added left over jungle wall paper to the interior and used a square plant caddy without the wheels as a bottom tray. I added a wood bar that I drilled to accommodate stainless steel bars from a dish drying rack to enclose the open end and allow for tray removal, along with a glass cabinet door pull, glass door hinges and magnetic cabinet door latches to the top acrylic piece (now front) for the door. Air holes were drilled in top and side acrylic panels for additional ventilation. I did not need any of the window hardware or the acrylic side panels for this modification.This is a quality constructed cat window box and I would recommend this product for cats or other modifications. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and the price point. I could not buy the wood and acrylic for what I paid for a finished, ready to assemble product.

My cat loves this window box. I thought it had screens in it but that’s my fault for not reading specifications. It fits in window easily and set up was easy.
