I took these with me for a vacation rental that had two sliding doors. I was disappointed when they did not fit. I ended up having to figure out a different solution to child proof the rental.

Nice window locks. I like the added security that these require an Allen to open them, versus the old style thumb screw on the ones we had when I was a kid. They fit well and hold great and now I don’t have to worry about the kids’ windows being opened too much. Just nice to have the extra layer of security in their rooms.Installation was easy and comes with a nice tool to tighten the locks down. They are quite a bit larger than what remember the old style being, but again, added protection because it now has two points of connection instead of one.I’m happy with them, and my wife likes the peace of mind of having them.

These are pretty simple in design, and do what they're supposed to. Just put them on the slide so the window can't move. Once you tighten them down, nobody is opening the window without breaking something. Would order again.

These locks have a rubber lining which holds on to the track. It comes with two keys. The one with the handle was useless for me as it was a horizontal installation and the windowsill prevents that key to turn. the key that looks like a bottle opener works, but it's cumbersome to operate. The main problem, however, is that the rubber lining makes it impossible to make it a tight fit. the rubber just slides away when opening the window. It does not create a positive lock and therefor I had to return the set.

In search of providing extra protection for my sliding door, This is a great solutionWhat to like. The size. It's small and compact.Fits easily. Just place the lock on the sliding door track. Then twist and turn. Make sure it locks.The color perfectly matches my bronze sliding door. Would recommend for some good old fashion home security for sliding doors or windows.

I recently just learned that my home was burglarized before and needed to perform extra harderning on the security. This product came with all I needed and it was easy to install. I like that it tightened it by two screws instead of one so it's a lot more difficult to jamb the window open. The finish was solid and the metal used was sturdy.
