At first held great but after about 6 months it started separating from screen I guess if you were to also sew it on it would last longer but I'm not trying to put in that much effort

My cat likes to stand on his hind legs and look outside at all the other kitties and birds. After a year or so of doing this, the entire width of the bottom portion of the screen up to about an inch above the bottom was torn due to his claws. This screen repair tape worked great at repairing the entire area that was damaged. Even better, the repaired area is barely noticeable! Well, it is to me a little but only because I know it's there but to others they can't even tell when I've asked. I can't stop Ollie from looking outside the door because he simply enjoys it too much and I'd NEVER have him declawed. So I'm glad I have some left just in case I need to do another repair but quite honestly, this stuff feels TOUGH. It may just survive kitty claws. Either way, I am very happy with the results and have no problem suggesting/recommending this product to anyone needing a screen repair š»

One of the windows in my home had a small hole, and this tape did the trick.I cleaned the area of the window screen that had a tear. The instructions note that you may trim the damaged area if you wish. The tape is adhesive on one side, and the other side is attached to plastic liner.I lined up the tapeās screen openings with the natural openings in the screen.I've included before and after photos.Note: The tapeās openings appear to be a little smaller than the natural openings, so a little less air may flow through the repaired area. The tape aligns well with the pattern of the existing screen, resulting in a neat appearance. Also note: The adhesive side is on the outside, so it may be best to keep at least a portion of the outside plastic liner to store it, to prevent the tape from sticking to unwanted items.

This repair tape is like a strong bandaid for screens, effective in keeping insects OUT of your spaces.~ Strength: Firstly, the adhesive is very strong. The patch you make will not be going anywhere once it's applied to the screen!~ Quality: The fiberglass net fabric is well made. I think I could have gone with a lighter color for my screen but that was my error.Still it is doing the job keeping insects out of the kitchen.Birds for some reason like pecking at our screens so in lieu of a whole new screen that will just be getting pecked again this serves a very useful purpose!~ Quantity: You get a generous amount of repair tape on the roll.~ Waterproof: YAY. No need to worry about rain causing the patch to lift OR when we wash the screens~ Application: The one recommendation I'd make is get yourself a small bladed sharp pair of scissors ready to cut this.It won't work to use a larger pair (like standard size) and any kind of razor would cut through the other parts of the tape. You can see in my before and after how this looks.I didn't do the best job on trimming the edges. With a bit more trimming the repair patch would look better.Glad somebody thought to make this as ordering new screens is expensive and time consuming. We recently ordered a smallish screen and the hardware store messed up the first screen; and the 2nd cost almost as much as the window did and wasn't made to spec. Not that I'm opposed to brand new screens. But in some cases a patch repair is needed and Iād recommend this product.

I bought this to block some small openings in my outdoor shed. I thought this would be a perfect tool for it. Well, it almost was.It was easy to cut to my needs with scissors. Then you have to remove the plastic film to expose the adhesive side of the tape. I think this would be perfect to repair small holes in the window screens. However, when I wanted to cover a small vent in the outdoor shed with this, the tape was full of adhesive glue when the plastic film was removed. The tape would not allow air to pass through. So I ended up using a needle to pick holes on the tape as many as possible. It was just a little time-consuming process.I guess I can't really fault the product since that's how the tapes work.
