******* UPDATE *******I was able to get the height adjustment working again by replacing three of the five windshield attaching screws. There are five screws, in two types - the three in the center are slightly shorter (1mm, maybe) than the two on the sides.By replacing the three center screws (see photo) with the same type as the two longer outside screws, the jamming was resolved. The adjustment is still snug but the shoulders of the longer screws do bottom out as they are designed to do so the adjustment works again. You might be able to get the same result by installing washers (6mm, I think) on the existing screws, to make them bottom out before they squeeze and jam the windshield. I haven't tried that but it could work, as long as there's enough thread to securely engage the nuts. You can still buy these screws from parts suppliers like roneyers.com. The part number you want is 90107-MT2-000. Hope this helps.***************This windshield is nicely made with a built in vent that works like the stock GL500SE windshield. The quality seems very good. The only trouble is the windshield is thicker than stock, causing the five attaching shoulder screws to jam against the windshield before their shoulders bottom out. The result is the windshield height can't be adjusted.I've run into this issue with every aftermarket windshield I've ever looked at, on the Gold Wing, a BMW, and a Harley - the stock windscreen is generally 1/8" polycarbonate while the aftermarket ones are 3/16" or 1/4" acrylic. Not sure why this is - I suspect forming polycarbonate requires fancier equipment than an aftermarket shop might have, while acrylic is easy to form - and maybe 1/8" acrylic isn't strong enough for a motorcycle windshield so they have to go thicker. So just be aware that this windshield looks good and matches the shape of the stock one, but will not adjust up/down unless you get creative. If you're OK with that then this windshield is a good choice. If not, well OEM windshields are still available, for more money......

This is my 2nd slipstream product and I haven’t been disappointed yet. I bought this for my 1998 Honda Goldwing GL1500 and I am very pleased. If you are installing this by yourself install shouldn’t take more than an hour or two from start to finish.

get em before they're gone. On the vent: I clipped a couple turns off the spring to make it open and close with less effort. Also, use thread locker on screw for the lever

Old windshield vent had broke and was scratched and clouded. This replacement was a perfect fit and easy to install (once I watched you tube video) and looks great.

The replacement is very clear unlike my current windshield and I saved the vent from my old one but the new windshield came with the vent installed.
