I agree with Dennis Davis and Travel Diva.These labels are heading to the garbage because you can NOT write on them, even with a Sharpie.Interesting that both Wine Spectator and Franmara, the listed vendor, did not want to talk about the lousy product with their names associated with them.

Unable to write on these - even with a sharpie. There’s a coating on these that I haven’t run into on other wine tags - think like a whiteboard but one you can’t read. Terrible.

After years of using these tags without an issue, they have obviously changed the product to a new material. The plastic is too slick to write on. A Sharpie bubbles right up and smears. Regular ink doesn't work either. Don't buy unless they revert to the old material.

Durable plastic, not flimsy, tend to stay on. I use them as a one use item, using a sharpie to avoid smudging. But they can be reused if you like.I have tried many, these are the best.

Received within 48 hours of ordering. Exactly what I needed. Seem sturdy. Attractive, with plenty of room for writing. Only problem: I had to order 250 of 'em, and since they're eraseable, I'll never use all 250.

Great item. Very useful that they have a red/white side. Nice size--not too big. Discrete and doesn't take away from the look of the wine racks/bottles.

We bought these because We needed to label about 90 bottles. We bought them over other choices as many of the other choices have advertising on them; these do not have advertising on them.A plus is that they are two sided: one side is for white wine and the other is for reds.A negative is that there is no included pen. A user will need a very fine tipped Sharpy or equivalent.We will probably not use all 250 tags over the next few years, so this is not the cheapest possible choice; but the labels were the best we could find that were without advertising and were two sided.

My wife and I built a wine cellar in our house and we needed a way to mark our wine bottles. We wanted tags that were plan and didn't advertise a specific company, after all it is OUR cellar! These tags have been great. They are truly dry erase, although we use permanent marker on them to ensure no rubbing off, and they are cheap enough that it isn't an issue for us (although I was able to erase the perm marker by going over the writing again and then wiping, just like a white board). Each tag has a front and back (obviously) with one side printed as a Red (for red wine) and a Green (for white wine)- we really liked this feature. Upon opening the packs we noticed that some of the tags looked "broken" at the stems. They aren't, they are cut so they can slide easily over the necks of the bottles, which we REALLY like. It makes it very easy to place these tags over all sorts of different types of bottles and sizes. We bought 500 of these tags and we are happy with them and would recommend these for anyone interested in labeling their cellar inventory.
