We tested on land, and will need to test in the water! The life jacket has Velcro closures on the belly and around the neck. It fits my little 4 lbs puppy with room to grow. There is a handle on the back of the jacket to lift him up. The front head rest is optional - it can be attached with Velcro or removed. Love the bright red color for safety! The floaty is light enough for puppy to run around and move.

I don't know how many lifejackets I've bought for my tiny 4lb chihuahua that just don't fit her, but I've finally found the one with this life jacket! It fits her perfectly since she is so tiny. Other life jackets, she has been getting a foot or two caught in the front of the vest which is actually very dangerous for her swimming abilities. With this life jacket, she is able to not only swim great, but it keeps her head afloat. I usually use this for her when we go paddle boarding together. Overall, amazing find for me and for anyone else who has a tiny dog!

So cute! This is perfect for my pet. I have a 14 week old kitten and it was still a little too big for him( just by a an inch or two) but it is the perfect size because he is so small. He will grow into it.
