These seem to work as well as any in this price range. They all shed wires , so absolutely make sure to wear eye protection. The only ones that I have found that don't really shed wires too badly, costs as much as the whole 8 of these ! These will work just fine for basic work. Again wear you PPE.

These wire cups work well on stripping heavy rust off of truck frames and prepping metal for primer or welding.

This review is for Wire Cup Brush for Angle Grinder, 8 Pack 3 inch Wire Cup Brush for Grinders, 5/8 Inch-11 Threaded Arbor, Twisted Knotted Wire Brush for Heavy Cleaning Rust, Stripping and AbrasiveThese are average to above average quality wire brushes. They fit on my DeWalt corded grinder and make pretty short work of rust removal or prep for welding. I haven't noticed the loss of many wires, but that is often the case with these because those grinders run at such a high RPM so wear appropriate protective gear when using these on an angle grinder. Pretty great value for 8 of these.

I use cup brushes for paint prep on metal, Frustrated by home store prices, these are a perfect match of price point and functionality.

Note that these are a little small at 3" in diameter, but I knew that when I got them. The price is pretty good per wire cup brush, and they are as good as other off brand wire cup brushes that I've used. I use them for removing heavy corrosion or rust from metal because the twisted wire holds up and doesn't wear quickly like single wire cups do. Also, they don't throw as many stray wires while being used, though it can still happen. I'm satisfied with them, they're good.

These fit my Bosch angle grinder and work as expected for removing paint/rust from metal. Seem to be losing wires fairly quickly though so I’m not sure of the longevity. Maybe that is why it comes as a pack of 8. Overall a good value.

I'm teaching myself how to weld and I needed something other than a grinding wheel to prepare metal for welding: remove paint and rust etc. Also, after my first few beads, I went back and used these to break off all the flaky metal around my welds.They fit perfectly on my angle grinder too. Mine is a standard 4.5" angle grinder.These are extremely durable and hardly show any wear after using them quite a bit.5 stars.

These are great for paint removal. I've found that you can prolong the life of the wheel by just hitting it with a grinder when it starts to not remove paint as fast. These are consumable items, and you WILL get hit with wire pieces flying off. These work just as great as the more expensive ones from big box stores.
