I've used this type of wire nut in the past, the type with a spring type of connection. I prefer it over the other types, it makes a good solid connection that tends to get a good contact on the wire and conforms to the shape that is made by twisting the wires together before insertion.The product is a good value, the price comes to 4 cents per connector and the assortment will cover just about all wiring jobs you will encounter. I won't hesitate to buy again from this merchant.

They do not seem to be UL listed. Visually they look fine and unless you're a professional there's a lifetime supply.But the listing claiming to be UL listed when they are not is problematic.Minus one star for inaccurate listing, minus a second one because it's a safety violation.

Purpose for Product: Adding to the electrical service in the shop.Product Inspection: Five plastic bags containing the listed twist wire nuts. There is a metal coil insert inside thepolypropylene cap. Packaging is NOT re-closable- you will have to re bag them onceopened. The twist nuts are advertised with UL 486C, CSA 22.2 No 188, and UL94V-2certifications.Product Performance: Installed wiring into all five sizes of wire nuts. The fluted outside shell allowed forenough grip to make connection tight. The metal insert provided significant mechanicalcontact for a secure electrical flow.Summary: These twist wire nuts appear to be as good as any I have found on the market at a reasonableprice point. Assortment should cover most needs for the DIYer and with enough certifications tofeel safe. Installed nut felt very secure. Found no obvious defects.

This assortment came shipped in various plastic bags, so you will want to have your own storage area for them once you get into them. Overall, it a decent assortment that has just about every size you would need for household work. Given what you might expected to pay at the local hardware store, this is a good deal (at the time of this review the package was being sold at $13)

I love the assortment of sizes included in this set of wire nuts. I am learning about wiring while installing all of the electrical in a new steel building and this set of wire nuts is helping tremendously. I have installed 30 outlets and junction boxes so far. The wire nuts work great and seem to hold super tight. Because I am a beginner I am being super careful to check that all of my connections are tight and secure and thanks to the quality of these wire nuts I feel like I am succeeding. They are easy to use. I am not really able to use the smaller sizes on my current project and ran out of the larger sizes (red and yellow), but the set got me well on my way before I had to go buy more.

I Love the quantity and the different Wire Nut Assortments for most types of wires gauge. Different colors and easy to use for the DIY. I used it on 14 gauge so far so good. I recommend the product.

Are you like me... have a drawer filled with assorted sizes of wire nuts from all the products bought that had extras... but you can never seem to find enough of just the right size when you need them? I got this assortment to solve that. It's nice knowing I'll have exactly what I need from now on. I kicked down a few bucks for a plano box to hold all these in so I don't have to mess around with bags.

This is a nice bag of wire nuts. It comes with various sizes and is in various colors (which I prefer). There's definitely a lot more of the 20-22 ga grey wire nuts than your standard ones for 10-14 ga for standard home wiring. They all seem well made and have worked well so far. But overall for the price, it's still worth it because of the variety and for the most part, unless you're a professional, it's going to take you quite a while to go through this many wire nuts anyway.
