Once I discovered these wire strippers, I use these instead of the plyer type. Strips the wire to the desired lingth every time. the depth of which is very easy to change in a second. Highly recommend for all wiring progects.

The wire stripper did not work at all. It starts to strip. It gets a quarter of an inch or less it clogs up and will not strip anything more. It doesn’t work as.

Okay so I saw the videos online where people are using these things and I was intrigued. I don't do a ton of stripping of wires but I thought it would be a nice addition if I have a larger project that necessitated these so I bought them for fun. I like that you have a quick release chuck with varying wire gauge sizes to use. Comes with a nice carry case, extra blades, wire nuts and electricians gloves. I tried them out on some Romex and it worked well, although I think I need to practice a bit more to get the speed of my drill correct. Love the twister as well but I feel that most "electricians" would scoff at this but if things make my life simpler, I'm all for it. Although it's a bit pricey, if you have a need it's worth it.
