I have tried these out using an android phone. They work very well to scroll through tiktok videos. I have also used them to navigate through YouTube with no problems. I utilize a music app while working, and I can skip or replay songs using the remote. I can also adjust the volume up or down. I can't seem to get them to pause my music however. The only problems I have are the volume functions when applicable are very temperamental, and if you don't hit the button just so, you could end up scrolling a page instead of adjusting the volume. Or, if you hold down too long on the button, the volume will dramatically and drastically increase too fast. Also, this doesn't seem to work if you have music playing and the screen for the phone turns off.

First Impression:Super useful for solo creators—makes vlogging or remote photos much easier.👍 What Works Well:• Zoom in/out and switch front/rear cameras remotely—huge win.• Works on both iOS and Android (rare to see both handled well).• Small enough to stash on a keychain.⚠️ Keep in Mind:• Button presses aren’t super tactile—takes a second to register.• May require re-pairing if you switch devices frequently.✨ Standout Feature:Multifunction controls in a palm-sized remote—perfect for solo vloggers or travel selfies.

This wireless Bluetooth camera remote is marketed as a versatile tool for vlogging and social media, but it falls short in too many areas. While the battery does last a decent amount of time, that’s about the only bright spot here. When connected to an iOS device, its functionality is extremely limited—it can only take a photo with the native camera app, and even then, there's a noticeable lag. To access any additional features, it requires downloading a questionable third-party app, which raises privacy and usability concerns. The remote itself is also bulkier than expected and doesn't justify its price. There are much better options out there—this one simply isn’t worth it.

So I use my cel phone camera for a variety of things including hooking it up to a spotting scope to take photos and videos. When touching the screen when the camera is used in this manner, it causes it to shake. That's not good. It's why I decided to try this camera remote. It configures quickly. In order to make it access most or almost all the camera features you have to go into settings and enable some zoom thing. On my phone that adds a box to the screen which isn't ideal but as long as you remember how to do that you can activate and deactivate it when you use the remote.Without activating the zoom feature in the phone settings, the remote still works to trigger the shutter and that is really all I need. I've had a few other remotes like this. Most didn't last long at all and didn't work very well. I can't speak to the longevity of this. It does feel kind of cheap. So far it functions well and does what I need. I don't care about using it to scroll through social media and didn't try any of that. For me, it is just a wireless trigger for the camera and that is enough.

I got this to try with my Pixel phone as well as my Galaxy Tab and while I go it to work, I am not overly impressed. I was able to get it to take photos on both, however I could only switch cameras on my phone. I also had a terrible time with the various other buttons; most didn't work at all or did something completely different than what the instructions said they were for. I still can't figure out how to scroll and switch videos with YouTube and there are several other similar issues with other apps. At this price point I don't expect a lot of features however the ones that do come with it, I expect to work correctly.

This little wireless camera remote is great. I use my phone camera all the time to get pictures and videos of my dogs, nature, or for reviews. I don't always have someone here to work the camera. I've aquired a few items that help me shoot my own videos. I got a tripod, face tracker, portable monitor, and now this remote. This allows me to film my own videos or get pictures without the need of a cameraman. The remote is compact and lightweight. It included a wrist lanyard, a USB cable, and a user guide. The first thing I did was fully charge the remote. This is easy to use. Just pair it to your phone through Bluetooth. Once paired, it will automatically pair when turned on in the future. With this remote, I can scroll through different shooting methods like pictures, videos, slow motion, etc. I can also work the shutter to start or stop recording. This works with the front or rear camera. You can switch between the cameras right from the remote. I love this thing. It is a big help when shooting videos. No more editing out the beginning where I walk over to the camera to turn it on. If I make a mistake, I can start the video over without needing to walk over to the phone. Although my main purpose for getting this remote was to control my camera, it does more than that. You can use it to scroll on your phone. I don't use Tiktok, but this is compatible with it. The remote controls my phone and allows me to scroll through my home screen and many apps. This would be nice for people who scroll through social media videos or read e-books. I am going to make a quick video to demonstrate how this works with my phone camera. I am very happy with this remote. If you are into taking pictures or videos from a distance, I suggest giving this a try and getting a portable bluetooth monitor to pair with it. If you use Tiktok and want to scroll through stuff on your phone or tablet without having to hold the device, this may also be for you.
