Supposed to be a call button/pager for someone needing assistance, but the instructions that came with call it a doorbell, and don't even match the product I received. At least it works as it's supposed to. Picked this up for my mom to help her recover from a broken hip. The different ring tones are interesting, kind of annoying but at least it does what it was supposed to. Not sure how to replace the batteries in the pendant as the instructions do not match the product I received. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I need to.

This works good. The range on it is pretty impressive. I take care of an elderly neighbor. She wears the one part on lanyard and I plug the other part in at my house across the street. I like having extra piece of mind knowing she can always let me know if she needs help. Our house has a tin roof that blocks cell phone signals, it doesn’t block this signal so I am pretty impressed with it. I like that there are no monthly fees and no setup. It is simply plug and go, you can change the sound and volume on the receiving end. This is a good value

This item can't seem to decide what it wants to be. I ordered it for my elderly mother who is covering from surgery. The call button works easily and comes with an included battery. The battery is an odd size though and you have to remove 3 screws to get to it (screwdriver included), so it might be a hassle when the time comes to change it. The receiver must be plugged in. When the call button is hit, the receiver makes a door bell ring noise twice (2 chimes for every push of the call button). It has an adjustable volume which goes very loud. The lowest volume is still loud, but not over whelming for my parents if they have their hearing aids out. There are also buttons that scroll through various tones, but I couldn't get any of them to stick. When I scroll through to listen, there are a lot of different tones, but whenever the call button is hit, it goes back to the doorbell chime. I don't care enough about the sound options to work any harder at figuring it out. This item seems to have some identity issues. For short term use during surgery recovery, it will do the job of allowing my mother to notify family members in another part of the house if she needs assistance.

My home is a two-story building and I've had trouble calling the kids downstairs, so I decided to search for a chime or something I could use to summon them downstairs. I got this alarm for that purpose.I found it extremely easy to understand how to use this alarm. It was basically ready to go right out of the box. I plugged the chime in an outlet upstairs and kept the button downstairs. It has worked flawlessly each time I've needed to use it to call my kids downstairs. The volume can also be adjusted to be very loud, and is able to get their attention even if the TV is on or they're playing loudly. The only challenge I had with this is adjusting the melody I wanted to play when I pressed the button. It defaults to a ding dong sound, but has the option to switch to a variety of melodies. It took me several tries to figure out how to adjust the melody. But besides that, I found this product very easy to use.

I'm a live-in caregiver for my parents. They moved into a large home that is spread out. My mom's cognitive skills have declined over the last few years and she needs help occasionally while showering. If my dad has the TV on too loudly or I'm upstairs, we couldn't hear if she yelled for help. I got this wireless caregiver pager system to make sure she can alert us if she needs help. I put the lanyard on the grab bar in the shower and the receiver in the hallway. I tested the call button from various parts of the house and each time, the receiver rang. The first day it was in the shower, she took a shower and needed something. She pressed it and I was able to help her quickly! Big win! The only downside is that I haven't been able to change the tune. I have followed the instructions, but it never sets/saves the tune I select. I am able to turn up and down the volume and cycle through the numerous sound options, but I cannot save the sound I want. It's not a deal breaker, but a little frustrating. Otherwise I'm so thrilled with this system! For $12.99, it's fantastic. Keep in mind it does not call for help outside of the house -- this is strictly for caregivers who are in the house but may not be able to hear when a loved one needs help.

Worked perfectly right out of the box. Functions as expected and is great for gardening in the backyard; you never know when you might step in a mole hole and break your foot—true story. :/
