Wireless android auto does work, so does car play. But you tube starts loading the intros, but never plays. Very glitchy and seems to have a lot of software issues. Not a fully developed product.

I own a Toyota Corolla. The head unit doesn't work with android Auto. Only carplay works. This device was able to bring another life to the car. Simply plug and play, and it worked like a charm.It uses apple carplay, and it tricks the system onto displaying the full android system it has built in. With features like the Play Store already unlocked from the get-go, it's super convenient to say the least.Wireless android Auto is a godsent. Just sync with your phone the first time to set it up, and it connects to your box right away when you turn on the vehicle the next time. It just works. I haven't had any connectivity issues or delays in the audio.This is a very good option if you're looking for wireless android Auto on your semi old vehicle, just make sure it supports car play to make it work. Great purchase

This device arrived overnight! The small device came with a usb-c to usb-c connector and a usb-c to usb-a connector. I decided to install into my daughter's Honda. Once plugged in, we turned on her phone's Wi-Fi hotspot to connect to the device. Learning to navigate the menu took a few minutes but we figured it out. Luckily, the built in support menu came in handy. After a few minutes, we were logged into Netflix and YouTube! The steering wheel controls still work normally too. The device also has a memory card slot to import your own music or video. My daughter loves it so I give it 5 stars.

this little box turns your stock stereo system into an android tablet that also connects with wireless carplay and android auto.very cool!!an app store lets you load up other applications too.watch movies, stream music, even connect your blink app and watch your security cameras.all while keeping the stock stereo controls in your car.easy to connect, just plug in, let the radio recognize it as carplay, connect your phone to the box via bluetooth and that's it, all finished.connection is quick, no lag in playing music or videos.calls connect via bluetooth and sound great on the other end or so i am told...a great piece of technology!!!

Product is under has underpowered cpu aswell as RAM and ROM.They cannot achieve what they are trying to with those specs. The device is extremely leggy. Bluetooth keeps disconnecting. Wireless Android Auto doesn't connect majority of the time.I would totally stay clear of this product.

I was looking for a product that would allow for seamless wireless carplay in addition to the ability to download android apps.PROS:Carplay connection happens automatically. It takes about 30 seconds but does not require anything on your endYou can download various apps once set up the device. This includes various streaming apps (ie. HBO max, prime, netflix). It doesn't allow you to download Hulu but you should be able to download the APK directly and download, which I haven't tried since I don't use it much. Of note, I don't condone driving and streaming!CONS:Initial set up is somewhat confusing. I had to reach out to the company since I thought my unit wasn't working. But they got back to me ASAP and solved the issuesCan't run carplay and be connected to wifi at the same time. AKA you can't easily go back and forth between carplay and streaming apps. However, the native system has everything you may need (ie. google maps).Overall, highly recommend!

So unlike a lot of adapters to go wireless most are exclusively Apple Carplay or Android Auto (AA). This unit takes a different approach and does both, as well as having its own to top it off. Because of all the functions that this unit does the initial install can be a bit trying.- First off, this unit must be accessed through the Apple Carplay selection of your car no matter what you decide to use (Carplay, AA, etc...). This had me stuck for a bit.- I'm not an Apple person, but to use AA you have to use an app called MultiScreen. This launches AA. Once you do this once it will do this automatically so if you use AA exclusively then this is a good thing! Because AA is an app on the unit the initial boot up takes longer then just using a wired AA but not too bad.- If you don't want to use AA or Carplay you can also use what's on the unit itself which includes google maps or any app you want to install. You can use data from your phone or install a sim card into the unit and let it use it's own data.- Unit has it's own GPS but i don't know if it uses it with AA and carplay or only it's own apps. I'm assuming only for it's own apps since AA and carplay run off your phones.- Unit also has the ability to do split screen on it's own apps. That includes apps like youtube and netflix which could be very dangerous if used when driving.Now not everything is perfect.- If i switch audio sources on my car (like listening to spotify then switch to AM radio while using AA) i can't get spotify to play. It acts like it is playing on my phone but i won't get any audio. The only way i have figured out how to switch back to spotify is unplugging the unit and plugging it back in. Basically rebooting the unit.- Because this unit does so much the initial setup is difficult. The included instructions are more of a guideline and don't provide a lot of clear guidance. Because of the lack of good thorough instructions I feel I'm only using a fraction of the units capability.- Even though the unit does a lot, it's kind of like a screenless tablet. Since most of the cost of a tablet is in it's screen and battery, something this unit has neither, the cost feels high even after the $90 coupon you can apply.
