Sometimes brand names charge an excessive amount for their peripherals. It is nice to have less expensive options for similar products. This wireless remote is a good example. I do not use it all the time, so spending a lot more was not worth it for me. This one has many options, a nice sized display and easy functions. The one thing that could have been better would be if it was rechargeable, but that is good and bad sometimes like if the battery runs out. Overall happy with this purchase.

This shutter works well I actually picked this up in hopes that it would work with my Nikon camera and with the right cable (which I have from my previous remote shutter) I am happy to say it does work.

Got it for my brother-in-law to use with his Sony A6000. Works well wirelessly with useful features like timer, repetitive trigger, delay, etc. similar to most other remotes of this type. Uses AAA batteries which last a while. All that is great, but the buttons don't feel "premium". They feel a bit cheap. Not bad, but I'd like a bit less cheap feeling. Otherwise all good at a reasonable price.

Pleasantly Surprised at just how well this worked and the ease of set up immediately out of the packaging.I'd recommend: 5/5 Stars

This set of Aream wireless shutter actually has a lot of good functionality but what disappointed me was the build quality and the cheap feeling materials used. Firstly both the trigger and the receiver unit each take 2 AAA batteries (first set is included in the packaging which was really nice) and this can be either a downside or a feature depending on how you look at it. I think that having easily accessible AAA battery compatibility is nice because if you run out of juiceyou can quickly hot-swap it or buy some at a gas station in emergency scenarios. What I don't like about the use of traditional batteries vs charging is that with usb-c charging devices nowadays we are able to top off the charge with a battery bank or in the car instead of waiting for the battery to drain all the way to swap which can happen in very inconvinient times.I like that both of the units have a dedicated on/off button integrated so that it does not drain down your batteries while in standby mode or when stored away (do be careful of battery corrosion over time). What I really didn't like about this set was the feel of the buttons. The shutter button that is built into the receiver unit is actually quite ok being a little dampened, however almost all of the buttons on the remote trigger feel clicky but in a cheap feeling kind of way. None of the buttons are dampened so you get this loud and plasticky click when clicking inputs.Functionally this unit is great with all of the features such as interval shooting, ability to take multiple exposures with the press of a button, and even the ability to create/program presets that you can go back to for quick switching between different shooting modes (timelapse, timer shutter, etc). Additionally in video mode you are able to start/stop recording with the trigger as well which was nice. The shutter on both the remote and the reciever are able to be half pressed to focus the camera/full press to take the shot. The black and white screen is nice with good backlight making it easy to scroll through the different settings and simple menu for setting up your shot. I definitely had to refer to the manual to get a full understanding of how to fully utilize the unit but the manual was actually really useful.Overall I think this is a pretty decent wireless remote shutter set especially for the price ($28 at time of review). I love the functions, hate how the buttons feel to use, and also really dislike how large the receiver unit is when mounted on the hotshoe of the camera. If you are looking for something cheap to throw into a backpack to grab timelapses or take group photos with your family than I think this is a great set at a really decent price.

I've been happy with it so far. I really like having the remote along with the on-camera trigger. Great product for studio photography and for any off-camera lighting.

Great device which can be used either wired or wirelessly. Easy pairing across multiple cameras I own for both A7 series and A6000. Trying to keep one remote with each of my bodies so I don't ever go without one. I have a Sony OEM unit (wireless) which is great- but $$$. This unit is about 1/3 of what an OEM will cost- so good value. Hope it lasts. Came with batteries, too- a nice plus.

I hooked this to my Sony A6000 DSLR for bird pictures on a pond. Of course I put some birdseed down and then when the litle feathered friends arrived I was able to shoot away. At first I was afraid that the camera shutter noise would spook the birds but they were not concerned. I got many great closeups with this gadget. It's a winer!
