Temperature Alert

This needs 3 AAA batteries that are not supplied, and some nylon cord is included for attaching to the pool monitor. It's easy to set up. The Clock has a day and date feature, although that's not likely to be useful. There is a dedicated Celsius/Fahrenheit button that at first thought I would have expected to be part of the setup, however I can see that this could be useful if having guests from regions where degrees F is the convention. There is no power on/off button. A backlight illuminates for a few seconds if you press any key. It indicates three comfort levels, and the temperature ranges for those are preset and cannot be changed. The LED illumination in the pool unit is nice, but this cannot be used to give a visual indication of whether the pool is at a good temperature, which is a missed opportunity; Blue/Green/Red based on temperature would have been nice.Overall this is a good unit that takes the guesswork out of pool temperature reading.

Easy to setup , but failed , looked like water got inside the screen and stopped working.Sent it back for a refund, will buy another but different brand.

is simple to set up and reliable in daily use. Solar charging eliminates battery hassles, and the floating design keeps the digital display easy to read. Wireless connectivity makes it easy to check temperatures remotely. I have used this to track temperature in my pond in order to know when to start and stop feeding, works well and seems accurate. The waterproof build and built-in light add to its practicality, making it a solid choice for pools, hot tubs, or ponds.
