works incredibly well! I wish this was available in 4k, but the 1080p signal is flawless when working!I connected the TX to my Onkyo Receiver, and the RX to a 58'in 4k tv in my basement roughly 50ft away. I did not notice any Huge lag, altho i know just from this implementation there would be. MY biggest gripe is that they stick out of the back of the units a good 2 inches which could be a deal-breaker for this unit. i would like to see a L adapter or extension for them so they can be fit in a much more shallow location, and secondly, power requirements. I am not having issue, as my Onkyo has a 5v1a USB in the back, but the '58 tv I would assume has 5v. 500Ma either way i had no TX/RX issues. when the RX unit is not paired, it has a Connection splash screen which is incredibly helpful if you end up losing your instructions. it's riddled with typos, but it explains enough to get you connected. I love it, it opens up so many other opportunities to watch movies! i can connect it to my projector and have an outdoor movie night with far less cables!

This is a wireless HDMI system that allows you to connect devices up to 165' away (according to the manufacturer).About 6-7 years ago, I was trying to set up a game room where I could project the game onto a 70" TV, but couldn't find a good way to run a 10' HDMI cable. I sure wish I had something like this back then. The setup is plug-and-play; just be aware that the devices are not bidirectional. One is for transmission (marked TX), and the other is the receiver (RX). Also, be aware that you will likely have to connect it to a USB-A port for power, especially if you are transmitting from a low-power device like a laptop. The unit a tad bulky, so make sure you have ample space. It could be tricky to attach it to a TV already mounted on a wall, and it will take up a lot of real estate on your laptop. The devices are prepaired, so once they are plugged in and powered, you are good to go. Video quality was great, I to play an action movie on my laptop at 1080p, and the quality the same as with a physical cable. They do get a little warm, no more than a laptop, so you will want to make sure they are ventilated. Also, the devices are limited to 1080p...4K is supported, but will downconvert to 1080.One of the most impressive features is if the receiver is powered but is not receiving a signal, it will display the device's user manual on the screen, complete with a QR code to contact support. Very clever!

I love gadgets like these and am usually disappointed. Generally they just don't live up to the promise. Generally, they're just not... quite ready for Primetime. This device does work. It's a little finicky, but it works.4 stars if you don't mind a little, reasonably minor, troubleshooting3-3.5 stars if you just want it to 100% work with zero issues and hassle. (A good 3 stars. A solid 'worth it' 3 stars).I tried connecting it up to a projector, one of the main use cases where my input, the projector, is located in a hard to get to place from the source: A computer, streaming device, etc.The devices are light, they feel a little empty or plastic-y. But setting them up was pretty easy. I did have a little hiccup- the manual says the USB port used to provide power must supply 1 amp or the device might be buggy. And that's exactly what happened. Plugged into the projecter (hdmi in and also the USB for power) and I could not get the devices to connect. I was just about to Hulk-Smash when I had the prescient thought to move the power/USB plug to the device from the projector and put it in a wall plug. From then on there was a little fiddling about plugging and unplugging; basically just cycling them to make sure it's on and booted correctly, and then it worked. And it works! Pretty clear video. The PC recognized the projector as a separate monitor and I could play around with it in display settings- duplicating other monitors, or extending them. It was pretty cool.I only tested at a distance of a few feet. Not sure how it would work at longer distances. There was a little delay between mouse and movement, but it wasn't huge. Maybe a full second, maybe a hair less. Too huge for gaming, I don't think that would work well at all unless you're doing non hand-eye coordination games. No shooters, but ok for strategy, turn by turn, online board games, etc. But for movie watching and stuff like that it would be very fine. The instructions could be printed a little larger, and you may have to fiddle with it at first to get it running. But it works.

Ok, so I have never used a wireless video transmission device. This is my first one and I am impressed as well as satisfied. It doesn't feel to be the best as it has its own issues but it does the job very well. This wireless HDMI sender and receiver seems to be a great solution for streaming media without dealing with long cables. The range works well for my setup. I used it to transmit to another room as well as in the same room. I did not face any problem with the resolution. It was crisp and smooth playback. It was truly plug-and-play, and I had it up and running in no time. The 2.4/5GHz connection ensures stable streaming, even when there are other wireless devices around. There was only one issue I faced while watching a 2 hour movie that it froze for around 5 seconds and displayed an error message on screen. That happened a couple of times but it automatically recovered. Overall, it's a solid product for wireless streaming, and I recommend it for anyone looking for a simple, clutter-free solution!

I got this HDMI sender and receiver set for movie nights and presentations, and it couldn’t be easier to use. You simply plug it in, and within seconds, your laptop or TV box mirrors onto your screen or projector. The connection has been reliable, with no noticeable lag, and the 1080p picture quality looks excellent. It’s especially useful when you want to avoid running cables across the room. It's totally worth it for wireless setups.
