Connects on android 14band all you get is a black screen with a back button and home button and audio bit no video streaming or mirroring. Will not even connect on windows

Great for casting things from your computer or other device but it hangs when I stream video to a tv screen all the time. I get like 4 minutes where it works great then it locks up and I only get audio and have to disconnect from the TV.

This wireless HDMI display adapter was so easy to set up. It had all the cords needed. It has a hard button on it to switch from iOS or android/PC. When you switch to either you have directions on the screen of your TV or display. It fits in a standard HDMI.There is no need to hook anything to any wireless router whatsoever. It’s able to cast directly to the adapter with no in between or hub. It uses the Wi-Fi on your device similarly to how headphones use a Bluetooth.I was very impressed with using Google slides from my phone and casting a presentation and getting the speaker notes on my phone. It was pretty amazing. I was also able to mirror my laptop or extend it. It is definitely an option for those that don’t have an HDMI out on their laptop or that want to cast to something that is too long for a cord.It worked exactly as described.****Be aware that any paid sub subscription HDCP services like Netflix or HBO or YouTube TV will not work.

The Wireless HDMI Display Dongle Adapter delivers excellent 4K quality and easy setup. However, it occasionally drops connections and experiences lag during gaming. It’s great for casual streaming, but reliability needs improvement. Overall, a good choice.

It’s super easy to install.I had old tv in basement for treadmill.Before I was using the tv box to do my phone screen mirroring.This one is dedicated for the mirroring, connects fast and easier. Much better than my tv box.When you connect to the tv, switch to the correct input, it will show the connect code.You only need to enter the code one time on your device.The back usb c port feels not very sturdy when I plug the cable in.Best thing about this is plug it to your hotel room tv, watch Netflix, TikTok anything from your phone.

I read many reviews before making a purchase of a casting device. There have been reviews concerning the instructions and initial set up. The instructions provided are printed very small, and are in no particular order for an initial set-up. However, if you look at different devices on Amazon some of them have in the descriptions detailed instructions on how to set it up that are large enough to read. They essentially all work in the same manner. First you must connect the device to your wifi. I could not do this on my android phone and on my desktop. There are two modes for this device, one is iOS/Airplay and the other is Android/Windows. In order to switch you must push the button on the device. I could never get this device into the Android/Windows mode so I could not set it on my wifi. The device was recognized by Airplay. I was able to connect to Airplay, but when I attempted to cast, I got the following error message: Airplay is incompatible with the device. There is a firmware update for the device, but since I could not connect the device to wifi, I am not sure if this would have solved the problem. I have no idea of the quality or distance of casting for this device because I could not get it to work in either mode. I read and made sure my computer and phone were compatible with this device. Since the device was in the 30-day return window, I returned the device. I am hesitant to recommend this device, and if you do purchase it make sure you are able to return it if it does not work.

Before you purchase this item, you must have screen casting available on your device. Many locked phones, Windows versions, Apple products and other items may not have screen casting available.I have this device connected to a 2xHDMI input to 1xHDMI output to my TV. I use this device for customers that can screen cast and I have an HDMI cable for others. My TV is a bit older (Sharp) so I can use the USB upgrade port for power but not for screen casting or USB communication.Upon testing with various family and customers, I've found that this device is very easy to use to receive screen casts from everything except my devices (Windows 7 and AT&T locked cell phone). I also have a Roku receiver that works just as well and exactly the same. It has its own WiFi network so it isn't burdened by my other network connections. I only use it in my living room so everyone that has used it is within 20 ft. of the receiver.
