I got this for watching DVDs on a projector in my backyard so I don't have to have an hdmi cord running from a laptop for someone to trip on in the dark. It's simple, easy to use, stable, and works consistently. I will also likely take this to conferences or have it live in my laptop bag as a backup for when some tech doesn't work in a classroom.

With the build of these being mostly just a cable, it's very compact for travel in the backpack and not too much clutter when in use. I actually like that the power end is Type A. It's Easier and more common to convert from Type A to type C than the reverse. Also if using older devices and TVs, they're going to have Type A ports.The color and delay are fine on this. It only shows 30 frames per second but it's not a huge deal. The compression is fine too but it's going to show up on very demanding scenes like a camera going through a forest with foliage very close to it.Here is a tip. Pickup some a HDMI socket to socket adapter, (you'll find some as keystones) This will let you attach the receiver to a cable. If you're given just access to a cable but you want to walk around and present with this, connect the receiver of this, to that female to female adapter and power, and you're all set.

This unit was super easy to hook up and transmitted easily to my other TV. I'll be using for presentation going forward with my laptop. It functions as anticipated, works well, functions quickly and is a good value for the money. Speed wise, it functions quite quickly. I highly recommend this unit.

This is great for our projector. It needed just a little boost. Works as advertised .Easy to set up and collect. Doesn't take up too much space. Would recommend.

Could be the power needed, but wasn't casting with the pi. It would connect and then nothing would show. I left it for about half an hour.The PC worked very well, even with video games though there seemed to be a slight delay with the audio mostly in the games. For playing my videos etc. it worked surprisingly well with no artifacts, noticeable delay etc.

This is one of my favorite wireless HDMI transmitter/receivers. I own several of them.Like all of them, it is plug-and-play. However, I like this one better than the others becausea) It works perfectly. No latency, no drop-outs, no nonsense whatsoever. The picture is better than some of the others, too.b) It has the power cables attached. No plugging and unplugging, looking for lost power cables, etc. This seems like a small thing, but it saves a lot of time and effort, making setup a breeze.c) It has little lights on the connectors to let you know the device has power and is working.This system was also less expensive than some of the others, so it is a great value besides.

This Wireless HDMI transmitter does most of what it says to a satisfactory level. I used it for streaming the video output from my gaming PC to my TV, which is about 18 feet away. The picture quality was good but had some minor artifacts with motion when testing games and there is some latency that is noticeable from controller input to action on screen, but it's not unplayable. There is also a very slight audio delay when using the video output as the sound output as well. I noticed this mostly when watching a video with spoken audio, when the person is speaking the mouth movements are just slightly off from the audio.The build quality of the product is good, although it does get pretty warm when in use. The body of the adapter is also wide enough that if you are using this on a desktop and have the video port next to it in use, you will need to remove that cable to plug this in. It was not a problem with my tv but if your HDMI ports are close together you may want to check dimensions before buying. Connection was easy and is truly just plug and play, however you do need to make sure the refresh rate output is setup to exactly 60hz from the source computer or the screen will be black (Mine defaulted to 59.997hz and had a black screen until changed.)I think this is great for someone that needs to present from a laptop to a larger screen or just needs a temporary connection to a display. I would not recommend it for gaming or video playback if you are latency sensitive or if audio being slightly off from mouth movements bothers you.

This is my second time using these and they work. The cables that come with this one was much longer than first one I tried which is nice. The box came broken and usually there are caps on the usb part but this had none so makes me question if this was used. My complaint that I wasn't too aware of is that you have to plug them into the hdmi and usb and the usb cords are too short depending on your device so I have to keep finding an extra one of my own that is long enough and then you somewhat end up with a longer than needed cord which defeats the purpose of the hdmi cables being so long. Other than that, these are nice and works for my laptop to tv. I haven't tried to test the distance length. Picture and sound quality is good and in sync.Update: after less than one month use. Plastic by usb broke open and it no longer works
