I had to add power via the USB-C ports on both the receiver and transmitter units. Once this was done, we manually connected my cable box to the TV. The handshake took a minute or two to work. Leave it be, or you'll interrupt the wireless connection. Now it's as clear as a wired connection.

I got this wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver to connect my laptop to my TV, and it's been a real treat. Setting it up was super easy, just plug and play, and the picture quality is great, even at 4K—way better than I expected. I use it to stream videos and sometimes even to play some games on the big screen, which is awesome. The connection has been pretty solid so far; I haven't experienced any lag or drop-offs; the LED screen is helpful too. It’s also great to be able to move my laptop around the room without being tethered to the TV; I use it all the time now 🤩—it's definitely made working from home a lot more enjoyable; plus, no more messy cables!

I have lots of movies on my laptop, collected over the years from various apps. It has always been a pain to have a super long HDMI cord connecting my laptop to my TV. This transmitter/receiver lets me get rid of the cord. I will update this review when I try a 4K movie with it.

The listing swears there's no lag and one can game, but nit totally true. I’ve found it is easiest to play turn-based games and not live action. The devices pair without needing me to reset them, but they need patience at times and need to be power cycled to find their counterparts.

I recently used the Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver, and I am impressed with its plug-and-play convenience and performance. Setting it up was straightforward—no apps, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi needed. Simply connecting the transmitter to my laptop and the receiver to the TV was all it took to get up and running in about 10 seconds. This setup eliminated the clutter of cables and made streaming both video and audio incredibly easy, even through walls. The video quality was impressive, with 4K decoding and 1080P output delivering sharp and clear visuals. Streaming content for a party or work presentations was a breeze, and the connection remained strong and stable even from a distance. The dual-band 2.4G/5G technology and LDS antenna ensure long-range coverage with minimal latency. While it may not be ideal for fast-paced gaming due to some latency, it performed exceptionally well for movies, slideshows, and presentations. The LED display on the device provides real-time connection and power status, which is a nice touch for monitoring performance. I also appreciated the durable aluminum alloy shell—it looks sleek and feels premium. The versatility of this wireless HDMI extender extends to a wide range of devices, from laptops and PCs to projectors and TV boxes, making it highly practical for both personal and professional use.Overall, this wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver is a perfect solution for maintaining a clean, cable-free setup while enjoying high-quality streaming. It’s a must-have for presentations, movie nights, and any situation where hassle-free connectivity is a priority. Highly recommended!

This is the sixth HDMI extender kit that I have ordered under this brand name. I think these all of these kits use the same or similar internal components with different exterior housings. I have been surprised at how well all of these work. The quality of the HDMI stick and the software was evident at every step of the setup process. When it arrived, the unboxing experience is high quality - it feels like a much more expensive product. The materials don't feel cheap. With his kit, you could keep adding RXs to the single TX - I am currently using a six RX configuration. The connection between the TX & RX is strong and stable - I have not experienced significant lag or dropouts. The signal doesn't seem to have any issues going through walls at a range of about 75 feet.

QUICK LOOK: I've always been fascinated by these devices that allow for wireless connectivity for video versus having to have a long cable connecting different devices in the house. These transmitters also come at a very approachable price point. I tested this with a gaming PC to my large OLED TV and was not able to get it to work reliably. When it did connect, the signal was too large and had some stuttering as well as delay making it ununsable for gaming. HOWEVER, when I connected this to my laptop for video purposes it easily connected to the PC and the video was fluid and transmitted with little to no delay. This would be fantastic for using in outdoor situations or indoor for connectivity to living room displays with other devices wirelessly.THE GOOD STUFF:- Relatively easy to setup (just read the instructions)- Works great for video transmission (1080p)- Really solid rangeTHE NOT SO GOOD STUFF:- Not ideal for gaming - delay and stuttering when using this from a PC to a TV- Requires power for transmission (read the instructions!)
