This is a great link conceptually, but in practicality, not the best option out there.Having delt with a series of wireless connecting options, this one is about early 2000. It does come with several adaptors, connectors and cords, but you will certainly need them to get this to work. First off you will need to connect one to the computer/device that is the master, and one to the projected device. Once you have that connection, you will have to have an additional power source to the wireless adapter to power it up. Seems simple enough, but with computers having less power USBs on them, you may need to find another power source and use a USB adapter for the power. I tried this on my TV, portable monitor, and mounted monitor, the scenario was the same, I need to had additional power cords. With computers being BT ready, and most TVs and monitors are going the same route, I would say you don't need this. But in the small chance your tech equipment is pre 2000s or early 2000, this could work, theoretically.

The price on this type of tech has finally dropped low enough to make it so owning some is practical, particularly for occasionally use. I already own a pair of this type of adapter that have the USB power cable permanently attached and I quite like the simplicity of those. However, these offer some unique benefits, particularly getting you more options on USB cables, either shorter or longer.I like that these are pretty straightforward and that reading the instructions isn't even really necessary. They work great, are super easy to setup and and didn't get as warm after usage, even after running them for several hours. As with other adapters that I own, the receiving adapter also shows information on the screen. I tested them with both a laptop and a Roku Ultra as the source and they worked without a hitch and didn't have any lag or other issues.

Each side of the equation requires USB-C power input. That said, it works great. I experimented with a video monitor (small, portable one), and it works perfectly. Also, I have an additional HDMI to USB-C cable, and the adapter that comes with this set allows me to use that as well - BONUS!The adapters are fantastic, and I can use my old 1080P (2K) - camera with a laptop for some special video projects I have coming up.If you have a recording monitor, this would be an good way to make use of that too.

I had this Wireless HDMI transmitter/receiver hooked up in minutes. I attached one power cable (USB-C on one end, USB- A on other end) to the transmitter, the other power cable to the receiver. I plugged the transmitter into my computer's HDMI port, and plugged the USB-A cable into computer's USB-A port. Basically, I did the same with the receiver but into my TV's HDMI & USB-A ports. They paired quickly and I was up and running - video (or anything) sourced on my computer, viewable on my TV ... WIRELESSLY.I come from the old-school days when I would have to buy a long (30-foot plus) HDMI-to-HDMI cable to run across the floor from computer to TV, so wireless tech is a joy to me (it's come a long way).

I got this to try and watch TV from my front room to my shed out back.Wasn't expecting much, but it's better than I thought. I can turn on my android box and transmit to the shed.I had to move the TV to the wall closest to my front room tv. This knocked off about 5 ft, which did make a big difference. Overall, the two HDMI's are only about 22 ft apart. I think the metal wall on the shed is my biggest problem, but I didn't want to run an antenna out there. I may add an antenna later this year, but for now, this will work. 4 stars as the setup was not as easy as it should be.

I was really excited to try out this product and finally got the chance to do so today. The transmitter and receiver come with several adapters connecting cables.I was concerned that the transmitter would still need to be connected to the 5 volt power source, but was pleased to see that my Android phone provided whatever power was needed to send the images from my phone to the TV screen. The receiver derives its power from a USBC connector to a USB A connector, wish I plugged into my television right next to the HDMI port.A nice menu screen comes up with several troubleshooting tips before I connected the transmitter. The images and sound were beautiful. As you can see I had the camera turned on on my phone which was feeding the television creating an infinite loop. But the videos that I played from my phone really looked terrific. Since the transmitter under certain conditions apparently, and the receiver need to be connected to USB power most of the time, one of the most useful accessories in the box was a USB female to USB male flexible extension cable. There isn't always the most room in the world when you want to connect an HDMI device and when that device has a USB C adapter sticking out of the side, It makes installation in tight spaces impossible without the extension cable. All in all, I'm very impressed with the instructions, the accessories and of course the HDMI transmitter and receiver which is a real game changer in terms of convenience or in situations where running a cable is just not possible or practical for whatever reason. Excellent seller, fast shipment, great product, highly recommended!

These wireless HDMI Transmitters are awesome to cut the cord and clear up some of that clutter of wires!! Picture and sound transfers without a noticeable lag. Picture shows beautifully. Crisp and clear. Simple plug and play setup. Put the TX node in whatever you are wanting to show’s HDMI port and the RX node in the HDMI port of whatever device you want the screen on. It’s a pretty nifty device to have. And well worth the money!!
