This is a great controller that works on PC plugged right in giving you 1000hrz polling rate performance with excellent stick accuracy and a really good D-pad albeit with a slight defect on mine pressing in the RIGHT direction. Wirelessly is a different story with a noticeable amount of input lag and 65% stability on 170hrz connection. Still it's perfectly usable and you can work around the delay a bit by pre-aiming etc. Overall a great quality mobile controller with excellent ergonomics and buttons and a decent build quality. A+

This mobile controller is a decent option for mobile gaming, but it has a few drawbacks. On the plus side, it’s compatible with a wide range of devices, including Android, iPhone, Switch, and PC, which is great for versatility. The "Hall Effect" joysticks provide smooth control, and so far it works well with most mobile games. However, I did encounter several connection issues when playing, and the setup could be a bit more user-friendly.The build quality feels a bit plasticky, and while it's comfortable to hold, it doesn't feel as premium as some other controllers in this price range. The clear plastic is pretty cool looking - it invokes memories of the 90's when every electronic device had a "clear" version.Overall, it’s an okay choice if you're looking for a mobile gaming controller, but I would suggest trying out some of the already popular alternatives on the market before taking the plunge.

The SAFFUN Wireless Mobile Gaming Controller surprised me—in a good way. Connected to my Note 9 with zero issues, and I was gaming in under 3 minutes flat. No app mess, no weird configs. I especially like that it shuts off automatically when I take my phone out—nice touch.Performance-wise, it’s been flawless. No latency that I could detect, even bouncing between emulators. One hiccup: it stayed in Xbox mode during an SNES session, but honestly, that might’ve been on me with how my emulators are set up.Physically, it’s solid—maybe a little small in the grip (and I wear a small/medium glove), so folks with larger hands may want to take note. The clear shell is my main complaint. That power light is intense in a dark room. I had to go full electrician with black tape just to play at night without being blinded. What’s worth pointing out is that this controller was initially reviewed by many while positioned in the lower mid-range price tier. It clearly punches above its weight compared to the $20–$30 category. That said, now that it’s closer in price to some high-end options, it’s not quite a match for the $80+ elite-tier controllers—but still a very respectable middle-ground choice.

Would’ve loved to report otherwise, but unfortunately an unreliable connection holds this back from being worthwhile. It seems like even the mildest bit of interference causes it to drop connection, which is especially frustrating if you’re playing anything multiplayer. Also worth mentioning is that the build quality isn’t there. It feels plasticky and like it’s going to snap at some point, especially if it’s used as intended for travel. On the topic of travel, surely they could have made the center area smaller so the whole thing could collapse into a smaller more portable size.

I've seen a lot of these types of controllers go for a whole lot more on here, so I wasn't expecting a lot for this when I saw it for $20, but boy was I surprised. One surprising thing about this is that there is no power button. It turns on as a side effect of stretching out to accommodate your phone. That's an interesting design choice.I tried this out on my Pixel 7 with Xbox Cloud Gaming and found it worked quite well. The buttons are had a nice click and feel to them, and the controls were really responsive between my touch and the reaction on the screen. No noticeable lag in the games that I tried out.One confusing thing was the number of different Bluetooth device names that this thing puts out. It was really confusing at first until I re-read the manual. You have to push different combinations of buttons in order to tell it what type of device you're trying to connect it to, and based on that it seems to put out a different BT device name to connect to. By default the device name it advertises can be connected to but doesn't seem to do anything.Overall, it's hard to complain about anything given the price.

This handheld controller for video game systems, laptops, phones, etc. is pretty great! It works just like how it says it will and is easily adjusted to clamp onto different devices. However, not all games on phones actually support controllers, so you have to make sure you game can use one to begin with for it to work for you.Star Ranking Rubric:🌟⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Outstanding product, exceeds expectations, would purchase again/recommend to friends, family, clients⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Great - Excellent product, meets and somewhat exceeds expectations, would recommend, has room for improvement⭐️⭐️⭐️: OK – Decent product, may contextually recommend, has definite shortcomings but is functional/serves a purpose.
