This unit, with its companion smartphone app, is an excellent otoscope even for use in a healthcare facility. You get a camera with integrated light, a charging base and cord and USB wall plug, as well as some disposable tips and cleaning pads. Unit and app together can capture images and video to view real-time, save, and/or share. Don't expect integration with an EHR, but you can save images or videos and import them in if you want. 720p may not be considered high resolution, but it's adequate for detecting a lot. Of course though this is called an otoscope, you don't need to restrict its use to ears; as product description says, it'll work with noses, throats, and more. Unit arrived well packaged and has a pro feel in use.

This FDA registered otoscope is a great way to supplement telehealth appointments. It’s not as high of quality pictures as one might hope for the price point but it’s helpful if you want to get healthcare at home rather than subjecting yourself or your kids to the viruses rampant in doctor’s offices in the winter!The device connects to most phones but seems to have trouble with some. I’mNot really sure what the reasoning is there. I suspect it might have something to do with the 2.4g WiFi channel requirement. Some devices cannot connect to 5G WiFi which will be the default for sone of you. If it’s not connecting, make sure to check which WiFi you’re connected to. Believe me, I tried to connect my smart bulbs to the wrong WiFi for hours not knowing there was a difference. I had to seek outside help.Overall, while a bit pricey, this can be a helpful device. The FDA registration is likely part of the reason for this price point though. Oh and if you have pets this may be a way to save your animal a full trip to the vet! I suspect for many of you, pets are much harder to get to the doctor than kids are.

This otoscope would be better if the images were clearer. In my opinion, it takes a lot of work to snap a decent picture. It did take me a minute to connect it to my Wi-Fi, but I finally got it up and running. I encountered a few problems connecting, so I'm not really sure what was going on. It wants you to connect to another network first. It's kind of annoying, to be honest.Oftentimes, the images will look very glitchy or pixelated. While it was a creative idea to be able to stream with this, it almost seems like a waste of time. There is too much involved with trying to capture images that are clear. It is possible to take a decent photo, but it may require some time and patience. However, it isn't all bad. It does have the ability to take pictures right from the device. This is perfect for easily capturing any questionable concerns that you may have.In addition to the camera button, this handheld device also features a light and power button. The light has four lighting mode options. Sometimes, adjusting the lighting can help promote a better picture, but not always. As far as the app is concerned, it's good. You can also take photos from the app, plus all photos are stored in the "records" portion of the app. Another option on the app that can assist with a better picture is the "zoom out" button. You have the ability to zoom out in increments of 1.0, 1.5, and 1.8. I could not locate any "record" button for taking videos. I was under the impression that this was an option on this device.In complete honesty, I think it has room for improvement. With the glitchy and fuzzy images, I'd much rather settle for another brand. One that connects properly to my internet as well. Another thing to mention is that the charging cable does not even go on all the way into the charging stand. Like I said, there is definitely room for improvement.

The Remmie 3 otoscope is one of those devices you kind of wish you had when an ear related issue arises. Like a thermometer that any household should have to take temperatures when you are sick, the ear camera is one of those things that comes in handy to check on what is causing a problem. The Remmie 3 is so easy to use and so much safer than those other ear cameras that also act as a ear wax scrapper. The Remmie 3 ear camera is only used as a scope to visually see what's going on inside your ear canal. The setup is easy as you only need to install a mobile app. You then turn on the ear camera and the bright LED light shines through the funnel and in your mobile device you see your ear, nose or throat live. I like that it is FDA registered which gives me a better sense of trust. One of the great things about the app is that you can share your video with your doctor to diagnose issues without a visit to the office. One thing I really wish it came with is more replacement covers. I guess you can try to see if Amazon sells other branded covers that may fit the Remmie, but it would have been nicer if it came with more by default. Overall I would recommend the Remmie 3 for parents and anybody that is curious about their health.

This otoscope arrived quickly and well packaged. This otoscope is really cool and relatively user friendly. It has an app that you can download that allows you view and share pictures and video with an available clinician or to your primary care physician. This can be used for ears, nose, or throat to detect any illness or injury from the comfort of your own home. The picture quality is pretty good for what it is and does offer AI guidance which is pretty cool. This set includes the otoscope, charging base, charging cord, power supply, disposable specula, alcohol pads, and an easy to follow manual. This is FDA registered which makes it something I feel is reliable. The price point for this is appropriate for what it is capable of doing. Overall, this is a great tool to have on hand for those who have young kids or those who are susceptible to illnesses that impact their ears, nose, and/or throat. Would recommend.
