Excact fit to the 47.50 Wiseco piston. No need to gap the ring, in my case at least. Since the Wiseco piston is forged and milled down from a solid block, it's stronger than a cast piston. If your on a budget, you can get away with just a new ring and gasket set and skip the piston, in theory! There are a lot of variables though.Racers will tell you to change the piston every race or 20 hours.Trail riders and farm boys will tell you to only change what's worn, the ring. I don't think anybody in the buisness, has a better piston/ring combo than Wiseco. However, opinions tend to vary with their bottom end kits. If Wiseco wants to send me one to abuse, I wouldn't turn them down and would give a honest review.Your mileage might vary!
