I tried using a HF ring compressor and ended up breaking the second piston ring. I purchased this ring compressor the same size as the bore dimensions and it worked flawlessly. Fast shipping, excellent product.

Once you use one of these, you'll never go back to the awkward wind up ring compressors. Low effort, your ring gaps stay where you want them, no more bent oil rings, because your crappy tin ring compressor slipped while you were fighting to stuff you piston in the hole. Buy it. You'll be happy you did and never look back.

High quality, great tool. Iām a powertrain tech for GM and it slides the 1.4 and 1.5L cruze and Malibu pistons in with no issue.
