UPDATEDAlthough the case is sturdy, its latch is not. A 3-foot fall to a wood floor was enough to break it. Shame to have such a beautifully designed product have such a weak link.---Even as someone who expected this to be sturdy and effective I was surprised and pleased to find it AS sturdy and AS effective as it has been. This case takes a beating in my backpack but hasn't suffered a visible scratch or dent. I've latched and unlatched the case maybe 200 times so far, and the only give I've found has been in the small rods that hold the latch together, which have jiggled out perhaps a millimeter.

I bought this for wrap-around sun glasses, but they will not fit. You will need something else for that style of glasses.

I have been using these (and a somewhat slimmer design that seems to have been discontinued) for over a decade to protect my reading glasses and sunglasses. For sunglasses, I usually need this model because is a bit more spacious than the narrower model. I love that I can throw my glasses (in this case) inside a backpack, car, trunk, etc. and not worry a bit about them getting damaged.There is a weak spot: the latch. As is always the case when mixing metal with plastic, eventually the hole around the tiny metal pin gets larger and the pin will work its way out. I have been lucky and found the pin (many times!) and been able to put it back in place, but eventually the latch fails, and the case is useless (unless you want to get janky and use gaffer's tape to hold it shut or something). also, the plastic latch itself has broken a few times on me. I've talked about doing a 3D scan of it and 3D printing a new latch, but I've never followed through on that little project. Easier to just buy a new case.Other pluses:1. They last at least a couple of years each.2. They come in different colors, so I can keep track of which glasses are in which case3. The smooth surface is perfect for attaching a label with my name and cell phone number for when (not if) I misplace the case. Several times, I have had the case (with or without glasses inside) returned to me because I labelled it.Overall, I love these Witz cases for my glasses, and will continue to buy them as long as they are available.

I’m sure a truck tire would crush this eyeglass case but I do think you could step on it and nothing would happen. to it. It’s decent looking and very functional. My wraparound and larger sunglasses fit in here perfectly whereas they don’t fit in a flatter case.

This is a useful case for eyeglasses; it really offers crushproof protection that you can't get from typical cases. One major problem with it is that it is quite bulky. An older model from Witz was flatter and easier to fit into a fanny pack. That model has unfortunately been discontinued, and replaced with this bulkier one.

Good case, but its generally triangular shape doesn’t allow larger glasses to fit. If you have a pair of Ray-Ban Aviators, this case will not accommodate them.

Holds your glasses, a little bulky.Floats, would be nice if it was bright yellow or lime green. Mine ordered was yellow but received black so will have to put some reflective tape on it

Love this case. Got 3 yellow ones shipped to me. Fits my safety glasses and is tough enough to actually survive a job site and being stepped on. The clip is incredibly usefull but is a weak point....my last witz case broke at the clip after 5 years. Obviously a good product if I am back for more.

Advertised for wrap style sunglasses. Unfortunately, they do not fit. It is a nice item, but only for small sunglasses.

I am nearly blind without glasses/contacts but I swim five days a week, so I could choose between going blind between the locker room and pool, putting my glasses with my flip-flops by the wall, or putting them into a regular case. The regular cases are not waterproof and eventually rust out. Leaving them on the pool deck was risky. Going blind usually won out, but was not particularly safe given the long flight of stairs down to the pool. And then I found this! The interior of the case is lined so it doesn't scratch the lenses. it clips closed so the glasses stay dry, and the bright color means I can always find it. My glass frames are not huge but would not fit in all cases; they fit in this case. I am very pleased.
