These Wix filters are much better than many brands. These are available at the auto parts store but the price is much better here.

I've got this filter on my 2022 Polaris Sportsman 1000XP, 2022 Polaris Sportsman 570, & 2023 Polaris RZR Pro XP. I used to run the Polaris Heavy Duty oil filters on everything, until I saw a cutaway showing that the filter media in the Polaris filters was much smaller than in WIX and other leading brands. I thought I was safe running OEM filters but I guess not. I run WIX filters in my truck, boat and everything else, so I was fine with switching these over.While on the topic of oil, I stopped using Polaris brand oil as well. For the price you can get something like Red Line 5W-50 ester based synthetic which is a much higher quality oil. For how hard we work these machines, I like the added ZDDP in the Red Line oil. That paired with WIX filters gives me confidence that my machines will run great for years to come.

WIX is a high quality product. Every 5,000 miles with oil change. This must be my 20th filter. Never a problem.
