My daughter received this set as a gift. When I opened the box there was a strong smell of BBQ chips. I then noticed the chips dust on the side pieces of the container. It doesn't seem like the package was a return, so not sure if it happened during manufacturing, but either way it's gross. There are also a few broken beads, I've attached pictures of both issues.I put it together, after cleaning all of the plastic pieces. The idea is nice, the pieces are easy to put together, but hard to remove. Each section needs to be removed to open and it's very difficult for me to do it, no way would my child be able to. Then once it's been removed, opening the case is another impossible issue.It's very cute, and the beads are actually great for young kids, they're large and have large holes making it easy to string. The metal closings included are a nice touch but not great for little kids.At the current price, it has more negatives than it's worth.

I’m giving this item 3 stars because I like the beads and for the price it was when I ordered it ($15.99) I think it’s a reasonable value.The cylinder toolbox is fairly easy to put together and comes with a mirror on he top. The interior can be used for storing the included bead board if you swing open some of the bead compartments. The toolbox also has a handle which is a trick because if you pick up the case by said handle the top half pops off and the bead drawers swing everywhere. There’s not much worry of the bead drawers opening accidentally because they’re incredibly hard to open on purpose. I feel like I’m going to break something when I open the compartments and ended up hurting myself on a couple of them.The curved shape of the compartments is not great. It’s hard to get them off of the box so you’ll probably just hold it sideways and open them still attached to the box and then you will get beads on the floor just due to how the compartments are shaped.At least one of the bead compartments had a strong very unpleasant mechanical smell.Several bead types shown on the box (the large hearts, and letter beads) were not actually in the kit.Tweezers are included however they are too small to pick up any of the kit’s beads.I feel bad that I now have this completely worthless hunk of plastic in my house.Beads: 4/5Kit: 0/5
