The 3mm offset is suitable when using DUB WIDE spindles on the SRAM MTB crank, and is already the 55mm chainline required for the SRAM T-Type Transmission groupset. The 0mm offset is suitable for use with DUB spindles on the SRAM XX1 SL crank and you want to move the chainline from 52mm to 55mm.
