Lighted knocks I have ordered in the past from other companies do not activate when the arrow is knocked, they activate when the bow is released. The ones I received did not activate when I fired the bow and had to be knocked hard pressing them firmly into the string to activate the light before I was able to aim and take the shot. They were just as hard to deactivate the light once the arrow was retrieved. 1 of the knocks did not work, 3 of them were hard to operate and I didn't even bother to try the other two.
