The Wolo 853 will give any vehicle the powerful sound of a train air horn. The four trumpets and mounting base are metal triple chrome plated and designed smaller to fit into engine compartments that are unable to accommodate a full size train horn. Built into the horn’s base is a heavy-duty, chrome plated 12/24-volt electric solenoid valve. Horn comes with mounting hardware and instructions in English / Spanish. The Philly Express requires an on-board air system, (recommended Wolo on-board air system Model 800).

This was my first Amazon purchase so was a bit nervous. Horn arrived in great condition as advertised. It's all metal construction, appears to be a rather solid product. This horn is very loud and quite fun to use. Overall pleased with this purchase and would recommend it.

These horns are loud even though I mounted them under the truck, they don’t use much air but they are higher pitched than I hoped for

I bought this horn a little over a year ago, i didn't install it for about 6 months, got busy and forgot about it. after installing it, at first it sounded awesome, but then it got where it sounded like only a couple of the horns were working, my guess is that since it was installed inside my bumper dust or something had gotten into the horns and messed up the diaphrams, it continued to get worse and eventually only honked one horn, very quietly.. shortly after that, it stopped working all together.. i want to say there are less than 50 honks on this horn.yesterday, i took the horn out, my intention was to take it all apart and see if it was fixable, if not probably buy another one. i got it out, and the first thing i did was hooked up power to the solenoid and it didnt click or anything.. i took the solenoid off and blew air through it backwards (clean it out) then it clicked when i gave it power. so i put it back on, attached shop air and hit it, it worked like a champ!so i cleaned everything up and put it back on my truck. i got 2 honks out of it before it was back to one horn. ah hah! bad solenoid. so i start shopping for a replacement wolo silenoid.. that valve costs as much as the whole horn.. uugh!

HELL YAH!! I haven't used any other train horns but this thing echos for like 2-3 seconds on anywhere from 60 and up psi. Will buy again for my other vehicles. The mount does seem kind of weak for the weight but should work and the air hose isn't included but I only paid $27 for it for a new in damaged box and it works great. Would recommend.

Higher pitched trumpets. Very loud for the size. Can hear them all across town. Running with 110 psi 3 liter compressor. Fun fun

1/3/2016 Very loud. Sound just like the fast Freight Train. ++Update: 10/21/2016 Not very impressed with the quality! The integrated mount broke leaving the horn hanging from the air hose 2 days ago. Made of cheap pot metal. The 1st pic is a close up of the broken mount laid on the horn. The 3rd shows that there is no damage from any contact to cause the break. This was mounted in the same position as the stock factory horn, behind the front bumper nearly completely protected. *** I was very impressed with this horn until it broke.*** The mount reminds me of the cheap door handles of the 1970s and 80s that every auto parts company stocked aftermarket replacements.

I absolutely love the horn. It does deliver a nice loud blast. The description did say that it came with the air hose but my shipment did not. The solenoid works good and the surprisingly the horns are efficient on air. I am Actually thinking about ordering a second set to get twice the thrill. I believe it is a good purchase for the money I spent.

I just received this horn today. It's a nice looking horn, but I haven't mounted or tried the horn yet. The 10 feet of 1/4"OD air hose that is supposed to be part of the kit wasn't included in the shipment. And since the supplier, (Trends Auto) has a rediculous return policy, it's easier to just purchase a hose locally. I don't really have a problem with that, but if they don't intend to supply the hose, then they shouldn't advertise it as part of the kit. It only makes for Bad Business. They certainly won't be getting anymore of my business. My one star rating is for the vendor, not the product. I'll review that seperately after It's installed, and in service for a while.Dom D.D.A.D.'s Transport

These horns were difficult to mount on my Honda Gold wing, mainly there is no place to mount. I have to be careful in talking curves too fast. I worry about tearing them off. I wish there was a more flexable way to mount. the compressor has been working fine for almost a year and it is amazing how loud the blast is. Love em
