I feel like these run slightly small. I wish I had sized up. I got them because I no longer fit into my old bike shorts and want to go on longer rides. I know how important bike shorts and a good saddle (seat) are. These work good but were tight so I can only stand riding in them for a little while. Who knows maybe I'll fit into them soon with all of the riding!? They do prevent chafing which is why I got them!

These cycling shorts are a great find—they’re comfortable, well-padded, and have some thoughtful design features. I especially love the tummy control: the high, wide waistband doesn’t have an elastic rim, so it smooths out your shape without digging in. The fit feels secure yet flexible, which is perfect for longer rides. The 4D padding is thicker and better placed than many others I’ve tried, and it makes a noticeable difference in comfort over long distances. The fabric dries quickly and moves with you, and the silicone grips keep the legs from riding up.Pros:- Flattering tummy control without a tight waistband- Supportive 4D padding designed for comfort on long rides- Stretchy, quick-drying material that moves well with your body- Deep, convenient side pockets for storing essentials- Non-slip leg grips and reflective details for safetyCons ( I only have one really and not that important):- Padding might feel a bit bulky off the bike (but perfect once riding)All in all, these shorts are well worth it if you’re looking for comfort, utility, and a flattering fit during your cycling sessions—whether outdoors or on the indoor trainer.

The passing in these biker shorts make sitting on your bike more comfortable. The padding is really thick. The quality of the shorts is good and it fits really well. The short is a great value for the price.

My husband is an avid biker, and family bike rides with our kids have become a favourite summer activity. However…long rides have been substantially less enjoyable for me as I haven’t had the proper gear. No one wants to step off a bike and feel like they’ve given birth again at some point during the ride, or feel bruised in a very sensitive area for days after. These padded bike shorts make a HUGE difference. If you can get past the initial sensation of feeling like you’re wearing a diaper, these will absolutely save your behind - literally. Bike rides are so much more enjoyable, and $35 is a very reasonable price for thick padding, quality materials that don’t ride up, roll down, or bunch up, and are very comfortable.

I'm looking forward to riding my bicycle and wanted to get some bike shorts as long rides really hurt my butt. I got these bike shorts (SPEEDCYC Women's Bike Shorts 4D Padded Cycling Bicycle Road Biking Mountain Riding UPF 50+ Cycle Shorts Black) in large as I usually wear between a medium to large. These fit me great without binding or too much compression. The waist band is comfortable but snug enough to where it won't fall down but not so tight that cause any muffin top situation. The leg band is the same on me as I don't have thick thighs, I have some slack in the fabric on my legs so it's very comfy. The shorts hit about mid thigh on me, I'm 5'6".The padding is pretty thick and very encompassing the area that would sit on the bike seat. It feels like someone is just holding my butt the whole time. I like the small detail on the side and the pockets have a mesh front to them. I haven't worn them on a long ride but taking it for a spin around the neighborhood yielded positive results so far. Good fit, light weight, comfortable, and look nice, I like these and I'm glad I was able to get these to try out.

For the price point, these have become a favorite pair of mine! I wear them on my TT bike on my trainer for an hour at least and up to an hour and forty minutes in standard riding position and aero.PROs:- Comfort - Curved waistband, Padding in chamois is sufficient but not too thick- Cool - Breathable, wicking and like the side mesh panels- Leg cuff - does not ride up- Size - seems a bit off. I normally wear M in normal cloths and L in performance athletic clothing, but ordered XL per the size chart and the chart steered me in the right direction but was a bit off. For size context, I am 5'3" (63"), 145-150 lbs (bigger up top) with 30" waist 38" hips. Size chart recommended XL for 28.4" (I'm 30") and 34" hip (I'm 38"). Even though I was larger than those two specs, the shorts fit fine.- Value - For this price point and PROs above, they are a good value!Neutral:- Side pockets instead of back pocketCONs:- None yet!I washed these in the Active Wear cycle and air dried. No issues! I will update if anything comes up in durability. If no update, you can assume it is sufficient and I would highly recommend these shorts!

Perfect for exercising on my Nordictrack X24 bike! Back in the day, I would ride a bike and get used to a narrow hard bike seat, now I'm in my 60's and it is painful to ride on these bike seats. I didn't want to buy a tractor seat for my bike so I put a gel topper on the bike and still it was not a comfortable ride. I had a pair of bike shorts with a sewn in "pad" from so many years ago, back then it was almost like a chamois cloth sewn in. Very little padding, just made that area underneath firmer. I ordered this product which is a 4D padded and its worlds away from what I'm used to. When sitting down, it feels like sitting on a super soft memory foam pillow! I can now ride my entire workout without feeling any discomfort on the seat and I can concentrate fully on my workout! I am typically a size 8-10 in pants and shorts and a size large fits snugly but not too tight. Fully recommend this bike short.

These shorts are quite comfortable, nice and stretchy. I had an issue with the sizing chart but decided on a Large (I'm 5'6", 145 lbs). The padding is thicker than shorts I've owned which is definitely a nice bonus. The mesh pockets are roomy enough for a card or key but I'm not sure how durable they will be in the long run. I wish they had a longer inseam with legs going to just above the knee like the men's shorts because they just feel awkward being halfway up my thigh, although they don't slide around with the sticky band. Also, don't count on the reflective letters to keep you safe because they are small and easily covered by a jacket or pocket contents!

I would highly recommend these shorts if you like a more minimal padding footprint. What I mean is, compared to other women's padded cycling shorts, the padding is less like a diaper that provides padding for the entire top surface of the bicycle seat and some edge protection. The padding in this item doesn't provide coverage for the entire area of a bicycle seat; it is more focused on the contact area on the seat that is weight bearing. The look is more flattering and less likely to produce chaffing at the edges of the bicycle seat. This items runs on the small side. I wouldn't say that the size chart is inaccurate, but if you sometimes run between two sizes, go with the larger size. The fit is tight and provides compression that is more intended to aid performance and less to provide comfort for leisure riding. There are two things of which a potential buyer should be aware. First, if the reflective properties of these shorts are important to you, understand that the reflective areas at the legs are behind the mesh pockets, and any items you carry will probably obscure the reflection. Second, understand that the mesh venting on the sides extends beyond what I consider to be the hip area and includes part of your butt. If you are a more conservative dresser, this might create an issue for you.
