I really liked the aesthetics of this hat. I hate I had to return it but it was too tight on my head. I have an average size head so just be aware ladies.

This smelled horribly like fish when I opened the package. The head size was also very small and didn't fit me. Ended up not using and returning.

Elastic may be better for help with size, rather than a string. I had to send back and repurchase. I love the leather and look. I recommend.

My leather cap is really cute. I ran into problems when after pulling the ribbons for a better fit and thinking iit was fine, I tied them into a bow. Do NOT make a bow because if the hat is too tight, the bow is difficult to undo. I ended up retrieving my grandmother's crocheting needle to loosen the strings. After readjusting the strings it seems to fit well. But I won't make another bow until I wear it several times to make sure of a proper fit.

it is way too tight, if you have a small head it may work, it also has a strange smell
