I really like my new hat. I wear it all the time. As it gets really cold where I’m from I will soon be changing to a hat that covers my ears if I’m outside a lot but in the spring I’ll be back to my newsboy hat. Thank you.

———————————————————————📝 NOTES:- Cute & comfy, with a timeless style that flatters all face shapes- The grey goes with almost everything—I love completing my outfits with this hat…just adds that extra bit of flair to casual ensembles. 👌———Quality looks good from outside, but compared to another seller (Comhats — Comhats Winter Newsboy Hats for Women Wool Acrylic Cabbie Berets Caps Cloche Ladies Warm Ladies Black Mixed at Amazon Women’s Clothing store ) that sells similar products for only ~$6 more, this one does take a few shortcuts:1) Lining is a cheaper material (Comhats is satin)2) Hatband isn’t stitched down (Comhats hatband is secured down)3) Hat has some adjustability with elastic portion in back (Comhats has drawstring for greater adjustment range, but elasticity is also nice, I have more to say about that below)———————————————————————MY OWN HAT HACK:I ordered 4 Comhats newsboys, and just one from this seller. What I liked about this hat was its comfort, due to the ELASTIC portion (but it was still a tad loose, so it still has to fit your head size). The Comhats drawstring doesn’t stretch, so if I adjusted it to fit the circumference of my head, then I’d end up with a mild headache.My compromise was to add 1/8” ELASTIC to all of the hats, so I could customize the fit & maximize comfort. For this hat, I sewed it onto the hatband, then tied it my head size. For the Comhats newsboys, I pulled out about half of the drawstring, and SPLICED it with this elastic (same diameter).I now have the fit & comfort I want from all of the hats, and you can, too, if you need a more bespoke solution for your hat sizing. 👍———————————————————————WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS?:YES! I do love this hat—it’s so stylish & comfortable to wear—with my headlamp wrapped around it, it also lends a cool miner/steampunk vibe, so if you’re looking to inject some additional style into your wardrobe, this hat is an easy way in.That said, I do recommend that you consider my suggestion above, if you’re in the shopping-research process, but if you just want a cute hat that’s made acceptably well & want to save a handful of bucks, this hat will also do just fine. ❤️
