Absolutely love them. I have them zipped up and the laces are not tightened when wearing. This also lets me just slide my feet out of them if i have my hands full once I get back inside. I love them so that I have forgotten I was wearing them and actually went to town in them. They are very comfortable and yes you will want to go with a size up that is recommended through Amazon.
