I am so looking forward to being able to wear this jacket! I ordered the XXL and it fits comfortably. It has nice lines so it is not just hanging in a bulky way that some XXLs can do.I got the jacket because it is a deep purple (the pictures can't capture that easily), and since it is my favorite color, I had to check out this very reasonably priced jacket. I didn't have high hopes, but honestly, the jacket is terrific -- not too heavy and not too light.I am impressed with how close the sequins are stitched- meaning, there are no gaps or loosely stitched sequins that you can sometimes see with less expensive applications. With the price of this jacket being so reasonable, I am impressed by the quality of the workmanship.It has one closure button in the front and some buttons up each cuff. It even comes with a few extra buttons.It has two patch pockets of sequins, too.The collar is a material and offsets all the sequins around the neck, which is great.The color is more like the first picture in my review - deeper in color. It looks more magenta when I have my camera close. The jacket is a deep purple.I like that it is not an overly heavy jacket and it is not too light, either. You can easily wear a blouse or cami or shirt without it bulking up too much. I tend to run warm, so the weight of the jacket is perfect.I am really looking forward to having a reason to wear this jacket. I bought the gold jacket and it is really stunning. It is a beautiful jacket, very well made, and perfect for dressy occasions like weddings, and formal affairs. I am absolutely pleased with this jacket, but my only problem is that I should have ordered a larger size. I normally buy an XXL and some things have been a little large for me lately, so I ordered and XL. We'll that was a mistake. I should have ordered my usual size. I would have to say that this item is true to size. But if you are looking for a beautiful jacket that you can wear to many dressy occasions this is the one. It is lined completely with a soft silky lining and it has a satin collar so that the sequins do not itch around the neck. Overall this is a great purchase and worth every penny.

Trust the size chart! I ordered a large because I was scared to order a medium and I should have just gotten the medium. This is not a slim fit jacket, so the sizing is very forgiving. I am actually going to tailor mine since I went too big in the sizing. I do like the single button style- it is more bustline friendly. The sequins seem to all be sewn on well and overall the coat is good value for the money. I work in the formal event industry and wanted something to wear to trade shows.

This sequin jacket is really shiny and will compliment your outfit and uplift your overall appearance. The sequin doesn't shed at all and are closely sown together. It has lot of shine to it. It has a silky lining which is very soft on the skin. This jacket is not very thick and will not keep you warm in cold weather. I really like the quality of it as well and has a good weight to it.

Ack - I messed up! This is True-to-Size and stupidly I got an XL when I should have gotten an L or maybe even a Medium - Operator error! I'm 5'3" about 155 and have started having to wear a large...but still have some mediums in my closet that work. I don't know why I thought XL. I'm bummed b/c I can't return it and otherwise it's a nifty item I'd love to have in my closet - like, why NOT have a black sequin jacket if you can? Going to something and have to look "up" or dressy or whatever and you don't feel like it? Or don't know what to wear? Sequin jacket to the rescue! This will never really be in or out of style - it's a unique basic for the woman who can work it. Quality was better than I expected - it has a nice weight to it. Honestly, it's a good deal for the price. Enjoy!

I purchased this lovely gold sequined dress jacket specifically to wear with a VERY dressy tight-fitting ruched red dress, and it looks stunning! It has a silky lining, which is very nice, but the sequins around the collar area tend to be itchy. For this reason, I would not recommend wearing for a very long period of time. I only wear it for a short while, usually over a thin lace shrug. The sequins stay put nicely, as well. Fairly warm…. Definitely not for outdoor cold temperatures without anOuter coat.
