Womens 100% Merino Wool Base Layer Top 220 Midweight Zip Neck Tops for Ski (Green, Small)This fits as expected. It's very soft and only gets softer with each wash! It was super warm and I love the cuffs on it. They go down onto your hands and don't stop at the wrists.The colors are really nice to pick from, the green is such a pleasant one however!I would say this is for about 50 degrees or warmer.

I'm always cold, so I have a collection of base layer shirts to chase the chill away. Most are fleece-lined, but this one, like an old one I used to have (but stupidly put in the washer, where it was reduced to toddler-size) is Merino wool.I'm not sure why, but Merino wool isn't itchy like other types of wool. Base layers are meant to be worn against the skin and this one is comfortable enough to do that. The medium weight is about the same material thickness that I recall my now-shrunken former base layer being. It's not what you'd consider medium weight if you were wearing a wool sweater by itself, nor, of course, is a base layer intended for that purpose.This has thumb holes in the doubled cuff at the end of the sleeves, so nothing will bunch up as you add clothes on top of it. The stitching is hidden, an indication of a good quality garment.Another thoughtful feature is that the top of the zipper is covered with a bit of material when zipped, so it won't scratch against your skin.The blue color is quite rich and simply gorgeous.I ordered one size up, because every base layer I've owned, except one, was skin tight. I suppose they are meant to be, and you might want to order your regular size if you prefer a form-hugging garment. I prefer a bit more space, so I'm happy with my choice. Choose your size with that in mind.

This Womens 100% Merino Wool Base Layer Top is a very well made and with quality, comfortable material. It fits true to size and is a little form fitting and stretchy which the wife really likes.I ordered this for the wife, and she really likes it as it fits well and is very comfortable, the wool does not have that scratchy feeling to it which she tells me is a sign of a good wool. The shirt is a little thin but still manages to keep her warm by itself, the shirt is meant to be a base layer worn under other clothing and is form fitting and thin enough where it cuts down on a bulky layered appearance.The shirt does come with a small pocket but is not really big enough to put anything into and the pocket goes towards the side and not the front which kind of makes it annoying to access. The sleeve cuffs have thumb slits in them to help keep the sleeves in place and also cover part of the hands to help keep them warm.Overall, this is a quality product made with very good wool, and the wife really likes it.

My wife loved this wool top, esp. the color (violet) because it was warm and fit well. It has nice touches that makes it practical for layering under your ski gear, like the thumb holes at the end of the sleeves and the 1/4 length zipper to adjust for warmth and cooling down (without feeling tight around the neck). The merino wool is soft but it is still slightly itchy (my wife has very sensitive skin).
