I got these in the light blue also and got the same size and these seem to fit bigger and material was not as soft. I still liked them 🤷🏻♀️

These fit very well. I would call them high waisted. I have a narrow waist but these are pretty snug, if you carry your weight through your stomach these may not work well for you. I love the easy fit through the thigh and the wide leg. For reference, I'm 5'6" and about 130#. I would say, even though I'm average height, I have short legs. If you're a tall girl these might come up short.
