The material is loosely woven, so I think it's going to catch easily. I wanted something a little tight against my calves to sleep in at night. This was "slouchy" until I washed it it very hot water twice and dried it on high twice. It's still not as tight as I want, but it works. If you want something for workout it's probably great, but if you're calves are cold as night, it'll work if you do what I did.

I bought these for an unusual use. I carry oxygen tanks in my open carry bag. I didn’t like the ugly green top of the oxygen tank sticking out of my bag and I wanted it to match so I bought these leg warmers to cover the tank and I get a lot of compliments I can buy different colors different styles match other purses so basically I bought it for an oxygen tank cover instead of going to Etsy and spending $40 for someone to sew a little bit of material together.

These are not what you would consider a leg warmer, more of us sock, but they did fit the purpose for what I needed. They added color to my costume, so all in all perfect but I have skinny legs and they fit very snug on me like a sock not a leg warmer.

I purchased these to put over my boots that were starting to peel. They were stretchy enough to accomplish the job. I liked their thickness also, and they worked for what I was trying to accomplish. Also got them at a great price.

Absolute trash! I wore these leg warmers maybe 3 times since I’ve bought them about a month ago. Washed them and one leg warmer completely shredded/unraveled in the washer. They are cheaply made. Would not purchase again. Then again what did I expect for the price.

They are comfortable for regular calves but if you have plus size calves they will be tight medium stretch stay in place very warm very stylish
