The Wood Designs WD21650 puppet theater has curtains, two shelves for puppets (not included), and upper and lower chalkboards. It measures 48 x 47 x 6 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) The preassembled unit is made of plywood with eased edges and corners for safety and has an ultraviolet (UV)-resistant natural finish that also resists stains and damage from cleaning solutions. This puppet theater is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Greenguard Gold certified for environmental safety and is suitable for use in an educational environment.

I was hesitating between the Deluxe puppet theater from Jonti-Craft of this one from Wood Designs. Overall, it is a beautiful puppet theater but I expected more for the finishing since it is fairly the same price than Jonti Craft brand which is really better in finishing touch. At the junction of each shelf and the sides, there was missing veneer. The reason of his lack is because they rounded and varnished only the front of the shelves, not the sides and the back. It is not sanded and you can see the wood splints. You don't have that when you buy Joni Craft. Overall, for the same price I would go with Jonti Craft but I've decided to ask for a replacement part and my next purchase will definitely be Jonti Craft.
