The instructions were just a picture and little to no how to build it.I thought it would come together as I seen nothing on ad needs to be built.I went outside to help amazon for that reason thinking big box. All in pieces.Took about 1hr and 20min to build. Says start with top but I started with bottom as top looked confusing and bottom to top was easier and better. No wheels but the ad said no wheels no biggie. I am buying wheels and installing them.Great once put together. I would say buy this but know will not come with instructions, not built and make sure you have about 1 hour and 30 min to spare.I needed this asap to do my sermon this week as I bought a ton of items to revamp my stage and could not use asap and opt to use the following weekend very disappointing as this completed my new stage area.

It's a little odd - but the box was just a box, and the wood panels and such were all just "in" it. There were no instructions.Now. When you get to this point of absolute panic, calm down. It will be okay, hopefully. There IS a video on the product page and that is what I used in order to get it built. I watched it to make sure that I did it how it was intended. Because there are a LOT of little metal things that go into the wood things. hahaIt really didn't take too long to get put together. Just make sure that you tighten the longer screws all the way in prior to attaching the pieces. Some of the wood pieces did have scratches on them here and there, but nothing to the point of returning the lectern. Personally I will just use a furniture marker to cover the little scratches (you can find some on Amazon). The wood is of course compressed wood products, and it's quite smooth and shiny. The edges don't seem like they'll be an issue for anything. It stores as is, there aren't any ways to make it smaller or anything. There is a open area on the bottom 1/3rd, then a shelf, then an open area on top of that shelf, then of course you can place a book or whatever on the lectern. It's actually a bit of room - enough for all of my classroom books I need. No worries! I do like the "cherry" look. I shoved on it more than a few times, and I just don't see that this would tip over very easily. It holds pretty solid just as it is standing.Overall I REALLY like this. I'm happy with it! It's a beautiful addition to my classroom, and it looks great. The price seems fair for something of this quality, and it will hopefully last quite some time. It's solid AND roomy. Definitely recommend!

This was prefect to place at the door of my restaurant for the waiter and waitress to greet the customer. It also had bookshelves to hold the menus and space for them to put the belongs. Nice and Sturdy and easy to assemble. I recommend this product
