The wood slices are very uniform in shape. They have been sanded smooth on both sides, and the bark has remained attached on the outside of the slice. The very smooth surfaces allow for decoupage, painting, or placing a vase on them. They came well packed in a very sturdy box that you can definitely use again for something else! I will be ordering again.
