These are beautiful, but I ended up returning them because the yarn was getting stuck on the non sanded areas of the hooks. The holes. On the storage rack, we’re also too big for the smaller hooks. They just keep sliding out and won’t stand up due to this issue. If those two things were fixed I would certainly recommend.

I’ve owned rosewood hooks before, but since I work too tightly I broke one and went back to metal. I figure it’s been a few years, I’ll try again. The set has way more than standard sizes which is nice. The hooks are light but feel nice in the hand. I appreciate they are decorative and functional; they look like magic wands. They have a nice pronounced hook, like Susan Bates. However, the head itself is too big, so there’s a learning curve when using them. I would purchase them again though.

The hooks are not smooth. My yarn is snagging on the hook and pulling. I am highly disappointed for the amount I paid for these.

These are lovely. Being wooden they can be less smooth on the yarn which is normal and to be expected for wooden hooks. Definitely nice for the price and a pretty set. If you're not used to crocheting with wooden hooks, just realize that it is normal for them to not be as smooth as polished metal hooks. Good seller.
