This is a great size for large family gatherings. The wood is nice and the finish is even and there are no rough spots. It is well made. It has kind of a vintagey look in my opinion, so I actually plan to add some little boho embellishments with my engraving tool. I would have appreciated a nice leather strap to hang this, but it's not a deal breaker.

When I ordered I imagined this to be more the weight and construction of a cutting board. It is not. In the description they claim it to be pine but then they say it's acacia. It is also described as suitable for using as a cutting board but it has some sort of shiny finish that I have no way of knowing whether it's food-safe. I'm not going to chance it.It will be perfectly fine for deviled eggs, but I think it's a little too expensive for such limited use.
